What a joke, waited 2 days to receive this junk. Advertised as "cast" when it even says on the sheet it's EXTRUDED so it will not cut or perform the same. It is also nowhere near 4mm or .16 as advertised, it's 3.65mm or .1425 and wont work in our project. I'm hoping Amazon starts doing something about these junk dealers and stops wasting everyone's time. ... show more

Had to replace the clear portion for my granddaughters jewelry box that was glass originally and broke. This acrylic was easy to cut and is very sturdy. Good quality would buy again.

This is not cast acrylic. The protective paper says it is extruded acrylic and it cuts and engraves like extruded acrylic. When cutting, my laser cutter leaves burrs along the edge and cracks at every corner. Don't even think about washing it either because everything only gets worse.

It may be my fault. I read the information, in particular, quote: "...With no melting point, cutting through our acrylic boards with a laser, tablesaw, jigsaw, drill, router, or bandsaw is quick and easy. The cell cast version offers clean cut edges without burrs..." It appears to have a LOW melting point rather than "no melting point". I used it with a 60 degree "V" bit running at 8000, 12000, 16000 rpms and at different feed rates to engrave patterns in the acrylic sheet. I brushed the bit while it was running but every time it slowed to make a short cut the acrylic melted and formed a small bead on the tip of the bit. With that bit of plastic on the bit each cut was outlined by a slight depression the size of the bead. It did not look good. I then switched to other acrylic I had been using and with the same bit and 12000 rpm it worked as it should have. So, wrong acrylic for CNC routing. I am sure it is good for other stuff, just not for router engraving. ... show more

I purchased this because it said it was cast. It is not. It is extruded acrylic. After engraving 2 small items and the results not being good, I took another look at the material. Sure enough, one side of the protective paper said it was extruded acrylic, which is less expensive than cast and does not engrave nearly as well as cast. Look elsewhere if you want cast acrylic for engraving. ... show more

This material is useless for any application that requires a true 4mm thick sheet of acrylic. Actual thickness appears to range from 3.3mm to 3.4mm.
