    • Quality is terrible now - new packaging and product is not the same
I’ve been using this tape brand for a long time with no issues and the last few times I ordered instead of coming in its regular packaging, it came in a plastic bag and instead of having the plastic backing it had this waxy paper. I used an entire package of the tapes and my hair was coming out within a matter of days and nothing was staying in longer than a week. I thought maybe it was a fluke and I had gotten a bad package of tapes, but I am having the exact same issue all over again with my new order. Beyond frustrating and I will be switching to a different extension tape. These tapes are amazing. They were a recommendation from Youtuber Brittnee Alexus. She showed them in her non sponsored videos and posted a link, but when I clicked the link, it took me to a different brand, but I knew that THESE were the one's that she recommended, not the one's that the link took me to. ( I know that there are some shady vendors on Amazon w/ fake reviews/ stolen links, etc.), but this company IS the one that she highly recommended, and these tapes are great. I am Black w/ natural hair and I have to add light oils and heat protectant to my hair, and I haven't had any slippage @ all ! I also apply my tape ins on freshly washed, unconditioned hair, without any products, using the tape in tool (like a pressing plier type tool), that gives a great connection of the tapes. I don't apply the heat protectant serum and black seed oil directly on the tapes, of course, just on my hair below the tapes. From my understanding and research, olive oil or coconut oil can be used to remove the tapes. ... show more

I’ve used this tape twice in applications. It’s not the worst but I wouldn’t use it again. Not a strong hold compared to other tape I’ve used in the past, and getting the tape itself off of the plastic backer it comes on is difficult, it tends to stick to the backer and you have to pick at it to get it off (which can make the ends of the tape roll/peel up).
