Not because they fall apart, but because sometimes I enjoy wrapping up a project with throwing my gloves in the trash 😊 Great gloves for the price, I've even washed them and they still fit GREAT!! Only con is sometimes my hands get sweaty while wearing the gloves (which could be my body or the Chicago humidity) but it probably happens with any coated gloves...I wouldn't know because these are all I use! The wrist is nice and tight, preventing mud/dirt falling into glove. So Happy. I am a woman with long fingers. I guess for a woman I would have big hands. (not like on Seinfeld "man hands"). Anyhow, I bought a medium, and they "fit like a glove". Snug but not tight. Shared with my daughter and Mom and they are good for them too. Also, I have been working with moving black dirt and shoveling and smoothing out the dirt with my hands.
