I kept putting off opening this box (fall, winter, rain) but finally decided to approach assembly. What a surprise- it comes fully assembled and you just unfold the legs! I'd have done that months before if I'd paid attention. I like the fact that it folds as it is useful not just for gardening but for working around my camp trailer so I could fold it and take it with me. It feels very sturdy. The seats are okay, pretty much standard for this time of gardening seat. My only complaint is that it came with gloves and a bag for the arms, but the divisions in the bag are too small to hold a pair of gloves.

As you get up in years, there are two things that are difficult to do, get down on your knees, and work on something that is located a waist level. This simple device solves both problems. If you need to kneel, you turn it one way and it is a somewhat padded kneeling pad. If you need to sit while working on something located at waist level (like replacing the battery in an automatic door lock), you turn it the other way and it is a nice seat. The bag for "holding stuff" is a waste. Whatever you put in it would spill out if you had to flip it. It just got in the way and I removed it. The folding/unfolding is a bit difficult, but if you made it any easier, I think it would be less sturdy when you were sitting on it, so it's a tradeoff I don't mind. When it is folded, it tucks neatly away, which is a great advantage over fixed kneeling pads or short stools that don't fold. In the kneeling position, the legs act as arms to help you get down and get up, which is nice. The padding on it is a little thin for folks with knobby knees and might not be enough for "heavy" folks (who might also find it difficult to squeeze between the two legs, but for most people, it should work fine. All-in-all, it was a great addition to our utility closet.

This is my second one. I had one for years and finally wore it out. It folds compactly, is light weight, and easy to carry. I originally bought it as a kneeler. The legs when turned upside down become handles which helped me to stand up. I am now 90 years old, and I use it as a seat. It is great for weeding, planting, any projects that require stooping or bending over. I highly recommend it.
