I am 65, recuperating from a knee injury. I think this stool is fantastic. I use it at the highest setting, I’m still avoiding pressure on my knee. It does take some agility to use it - but I use a fitness ball in my workouts and find the stool to be even more stable. Because you can easily adjust your position, you can avoid back strain. Before the stool, I used an upside down bucket. The stool is far better in comfort and convenience. The design allows you to move it easily in the garden to plant, weed, etc. I only wish there was a little more padding in the seat - but I will probably add another cushion or folded towel. ... show more

I use this garden seat for everything! Yes in the garden but also when folding laundry from the dryer, whenever you are painting in low spots, or even stocking your cabinets. Its really a back saver!

Got this for my mom for Christmas instead of a folding stool version and she seemed to really like it - we're in Wisconsin, though, so we will have to wait for the spring to see how it really does in the field! We’ve own one of this item, still in use.. I decided to buy an upgraded version with a cushion cover i am not enthused with the foam, it’s one of those cheap foam that will collapse or wear out in no time. Not worth the money as upgrade, better stick with the original version..
