This is a great gardening bench. I love mine so much that I plan to get one for my mom. It can be turned to make a comfortable gardening chair or a cushioned kneeling bench for weeding. The wide bench makes for a stable seat strong enough to hold a large framed person. I think the pouches that hold tools are a wonderful addition. The sturdy metal sides are spring loaded and fold down flat for easy storage. Someone with limited grip strength could struggle with squeezing the springs to fold the sides. I don’t remember there being much assembly required, I think it was just fastening the tool pouch and the foam seat which was easy. This is a wonderful gardening project and has reduced the strain on my knees and back.

I really like this a lot. You can sit or kneel. It’s light weight. I like the pouches for garden tools, heavy duty fabric. I use it all the time. One of the braces for the feet was cracked. I just never got around to ask them to send me another foot brace so now it’s too late. It’s really sturdy, cushion is comfortable

This is a great, multi-purpose device. In addition to sparing elderly knees when gardening, it’s great for when you’re tearing out wall-to-wall carpeting, and have to be up close and personal with the floor. It’s also excellent for kneeling or perching upon when you’re digging up garden steps and re-setting them. I’m a small, elderly person, and I thought I was going to have to give up gardening, but the TomCare Garden Kneeler has bought me a few more years, so I’m quite thrilled about it. If you want a really cushy surface, you can put a throw pillow on top of the kneeling pad.

Good timing on arrival as I needed this device today for a long standing project. The pad is a good width and length. No assembly is required other than the tool pockets. It’s super lightweight and looks sturdy, easy to carry and store. I’m a big guy - 6’1” and 205 pounds and I sensed this kneeler/seat would hold me. I used it all day and after about an hour of use, I added an extra removable Gorilla pad to kneel on - made the device more comfortable. Due to my size and weight, I was initially concerned that the two plastic side handles might not hold up to my weight but that was a non issue - so far. Like most everyone buying something like this, I’m older and while I’m very fit, my left knee is sore and cranky after 40 years of ice hockey goaltending. The two handles on each make it easy to get up and down which was really helpful. I have to reset some pavers next and that’s what I bought this kneeler/seat for. I’m sure it will help. My 1 star deduction is because I don’t think the pad is thick enough for kneeling for long periods for a guy my size. I had the Gorilla kneeler pad on hand so it wasn’t a big issue but you may want to think about adding a second pad for kneeling. Hope this helps.

This is great for working in the yard! I am disabled and use a walker. This is lightweight and I can place it where I need it and do a little yard work. I am able to handle it by myself when I need to. The seat is very roomy and the sturdiness is very good. I am very happy with it! It is easy for me to get up and down by using the side handles. I highly recommend it if you have a disability. I have scoliosis, drop foot, and Parkinson's. This product has given me so much help to be able to do a little work outside. It means a lot when you have limitations.

Possibly my best purchase of the summer! I have extensive gardens and am always working outside in them, pruning, harvesting, weeding, planting. This garden bench has been a lifesaver. You can sit on it like a bench, or flip it and kneel on it. When you flip it, the legs become handles so you can push yourself back up—handy when you’re stiff from working. It comes with tool pouches that slide on the handles, but the pouches slip off easily, and get in the way if you’re flipping the bench over—so I don’t use the pouches. The bench is extremely lightweight but sturdy as can be. The padding is comfortable and substantial. This should last a long time. If you garden, get this. I am 160 lbs and this bench has not faltered or anything. Solid.

My arthritis is very severe. Knees can't take hard surfaces and very hard for me to get up from a kneeling position. This product solved the problems. High quality pad that looks like it will last a while, and sturdy metal framing. Easy to fold for setup or takedown. The paint on metal that is in contact will the ground is already scraped away on either side, but I expected that aand it doesn't bother me. Am enjoying my gardening so much more now! Nowe, if only it would rain. Does Amazon sell automated rain dancers?
