  • Hit and miss, but effective!
It works, but the mouse I am trying to keep away from my home, is probably deaf, or something…. I see it still running in and out of the entry in my kitchen, but happy it’s not entering our other 4 rooms. Least there’s no bugs to mention of, not like we had a bug problem to begin with. Maybe the mouse is older and immune to the sound. Still worth buying! Thanks! ... show more

  • Mode 2 (10-15 KHz) for full efficacy against mice. It will even drive humans away.
I’ve tested quite a few ultrasonic pest repellents over the years, and I love this one, particularly for its two-mode design. I think Mode 2 could be effective if you’re dealing with pests inside your walls. When I first tested Mode 2 (10-15 KHz), I was intrigued by how loud it was. It’s not a subtle sound. It’s annoying enough that even I don’t want to stay in the room with it on. Because of that, I’ve set these devices to Mode 2 in areas where I don’t typically spend time, like the basement, attic, and garage. That high-frequency tone is definitely audible, but it’s effective at penetrating through walls, which makes it ideal for targeting critters that might be nesting inside them. If you’re sensitive to sound, you’ll want to stick with Mode 1 (25-65 KHz), which is completely silent to human ears. But in my experience, Mode 1 doesn’t have the same reach. It only seems to work effectively within a few feet of the device. For larger spaces or when dealing with pests that have made themselves at home behind drywall, Mode 2 is the way to go, even if it means staying out of the room while it’s running. Setup is super easy. Just plug it in, and press the button to toggle between modes. I’ve left these running continuously in all three modes (depending on location), and they seem to be doing the job. If you have a pest problem, especially inside walls or hard-to-reach spaces, I’d highly recommend using Mode 2. Yes, the sound is intense and audible, but it’s incredibly effective. For the price and performance, this repeller is definitely worth it. ... show more

  • I am shook
I thought the product was working until I was up late doing some work and saw a little creature come running next to the wall and scared the living daylights out of me. I don’t know why they are here beside different places like the utility closet. Unfortunately it’s 9 days past the return day and I’m furious. ... show more

  • The beeping is very annoying
I distributed all the products in different parts of the house and tested them for more than a week and the mosquitoes still continued to make fun of the product. The beeping is very annoying. I have come to the conclusion that it does not work.

  • Pack of 6 pest ultrasonic repellers
I used a product similar to this to ward off mice that were making a nest in my car when i had to park it outside. NOW i have a garage but we had a DROP in temps and snow and i left some paper towels out in my garage.... When putting something else in the garage i noticed that the towels had been chewed up and that there were mouse droppings. Oh joy. Needless to say (but also worth saying) there is an opening in my garage seal BUT it's been that way for a while. I've never NOTICED ANY mouse droppings in my garage previously, and i do tend to sweep it regularly. I ordered this 6 pack of ultrasonic pest repellers to HOPEFULLY assist in getting them to set up shop/home elsewhere! Just plugged one in tonight in the garage. They have 2 ultrasonic settings (silent ultrasonic and audible ultrasonic and OFF) I put it on the audible one since i can't hear it in the house; however if you need to use these INSIDE you'll probably prefer the SILENT ultrasonic mode. The prior one i had had different sounds and cycles and seemed to work Hopefully this one/these will also I've also purchased some mint sented things to ward them off since they supposedly do NOT like that smell I'm sure someone elses garage will provide better housing conditions! I'll be sweeping and clearing the garage fully again this weekend and will keep track of any mouse poop to know if this actually does help kick them out Will report back I really didn't need a 6 pack but if they work for bugs/mosquitos it'll be handy in the summer for other outlets ... show more

  • Dubious functionality
I am dubious about the effectiveness of this style of repellent in the first place but I liked this kit for count and direct power so I added it to the list of repellents I have been testing to deal with a common desert mouse problem that crops up every winter. I mainly wanted this in the garage where there are a few outlets and the battery driven models seemed like they might be a bit too much maintenance. Other models are designed specifically for under the hood vehicle use which didn't apply well to my motorcycles parked in the garage near enough to an outlet. I usually test these on my pets who should react similar to how mice would act having similar hearing ranges and compared to other models tested they didn't seem to be as annoyed by this as the others. This one is also audible by humans in both modes so using it someplace you are going to be more often would get annoying. No idea how it claims to repel bugs, from what I have read the lights and noise design is mainly for rodents. ... show more
