These were easily cut to fit the shelves in my dehydrator. I've dried out about 10 pounds of fruit n these so far; apples and persimmons. The apples were no problem at all. The sticky persimmons came off the sheets rater easily, too. A spray down with warm water and they were ready to go again. They're a heck of a lot easier to deal with than parchment paper. Good stuff! And the sheet cut off bits can be used as jar lid grips to open lids. *****It's been over 6 months since I got these. They've help dehydrate a few hundred pounds of fruit and 50 pounds of meat for jerky. They're still working great. They're easy to clean and they keep fruit and meat from sticking to the metal grates and the sheets. These are worth every penny. I'd buy them again if these ever wear out!***

Bought these for my Chefman 9 tray dehydrator since it only came with one tray liner. Cut them to fit my trays the they worked perfectly and cleaned easily.

If you have a dehydrator with stainless steel racks, you need these or something similar. Many foods or herbs will stick to the stainless steel but not to silicone. Additionally, the mesh of these mats is very small. They allow good airflow but even the smallest cut item won't fall through. While it would be a bit easier to use and clean them if they were a bit stiffer, the flexibility of these mats makes it easier to cut them to size and to store them - they can be stored flat or rolled. Additionally, the "weave" of the mesh matched the cut of the squares (on the mats I got, at least), making the process of cutting the mat to the size of my racks easy - all I needed to do was follow the line of the weave. Finally - these mats are pure silicone, not a mesh coated in silicone, so they won't be subject to separation or delamination with use.

I cut these to fit in my freeze dryer, so I could layer my items, so air and moisture could get through. Work just fine after I cut them to size. Also used one in my dehydrator (was missing a sheet). For the dehydrator, I like these better than the ventilated sheets the shelving came with. No weird tastes or smells that I noticed.

No complaints. The "grid" pattern of the mat is not completely square, so you can't go by that 100%. Just be aware. No need to round the corners as these will sit one layer from the tray bottom, as the tray walls flare outward. You can round them but it adds no function. Two layers of bananas per tray, about a 30 hour run time vs 24-ish. You can also use them between the trays in the freazer to keep the bottom of the trays from getting sticky etc..
