I love these sprinklers they’ve been the best quality sprinkler I’ve owned and at around $20-25 each they are worth the price. I’ve bought the plastic impact sprinklers in the past, but they’re always finicky and break. But these Orbit gear drive sprinklers are different. Super easy to adjust and work really well. I bought 8 of these overall and they're working great. I connected them all with some high quality hoses, made sure the end caps were on tight when needed and haven't had any issues with leaks. If you're noticing a lot of drips, check the very top plate, spin it to a smaller tab. The large ones spread the water out more but they cause a lot of dripping which can make you think you have a leak. The controls were very easy to use. I had no issues setting them up and I am not a handy person. They're light weight even with the metal stake, anyone could use these. They feel like good value for the money to me. I bought 4 of these and for the most part, they work really well. Setup is very simple, and I like that you can easily adjust both the type of watering and the distance. A nice bonus is that they allow for daisy chaining—I have 3 linked in a row, and that setup works great for covering a larger area. The only downside is that 1 of mine went bad after about 2 months. It still works but doesn’t always rotate correctly. When first turned on, it will do a full rotation, but then it sometimes gets stuck at one end and stops oscillating. A bit frustrating, but the other 3 are still going strong. Overall, for the price, I’d still recommend these. They cover well, are easy to install, and have solid watering capacity. Works great. Movement is slow. Ensuring good watering. Muck better than most other sprinklers. Also it doesn’t have many moving parts outside prone to being damaged by the grass weed whacker. The device works very good. The fine tuning and spray style options are great. The area control flanges are also awesome and are very precise. There is a flaw however that I had to take make self adjustments to. The extra connection in the front that is blocked with a plastic cap leaks like crazy. I had to buy an additional metal style cap and use thread tape to keep it from leaking like mad. After that it works very well and coverage is enhance due to the recovery of lost pressure from the leaking cap. ... show more
