I got two packages of these bulbs to fully populate his Sputnik fixture for my wife's work room. She has lighting in the room already, so it had to match a cooler color temperature. Aside from that the light from these bulbs is completely uniform and omnidirectional, making it perfect for exposed bulb fixtures. Further, the light does not show visible pwm strobing when shooting video, the CRI is decent, and the bulbs smoothly dim throughout their visible range (with no flicker or hum). The life fixture that these went into was very inexpensive, so I didn't want to spend a lot of money on bulbs, either. I'm pleasantly surprised by the performance and value. Recommended ... show more

The bulbs are plastic and hard to break. I was a bit worried that the white plastic bases would be too visible but you don't really notice them. They're pretty bright.

These LED lights look and feel like my old incandescent bulbs. They have no plastic collar at the base unlike the vast majority of other led globe lights. The 2700K are labeled warm and look more pleasing in my bathroom vanity than others labeled soft white. Don’t know how long they will last as they were just installed. Bought 6 to use in a 5 bulb fixture in our dining room. Bulbs from another supplier had started failing after a year, so I replaced all 5 with these. 1 failed within an hour of use. Replaced it and the replacement failed within minutes. Both were in the same socket, but I moved one from another socket to the socket in which the bulbs failed and it is working, thus far. The failed bulbs do not work in any of the sockets. This was originally posted as a 1 star review. After several months, the remaining four bulbs are still working and the seller voluntarily gave me full credit for the purchase. This was a pleasant surprise and I am raising the rating to 3 stars which I consider to be median quality for a 1/3 failure rate. ... show more
