  • Good for the price
Good quality for what it is. Our first use for it: We used it on the floor to contain a project as we put together a cabinet. Then we used it to transport the cabinet to rooms over. (Not super heavy.) It held together well and we folded up to save for the next use.

  • Good tarp for covering our firewood
Got a wood burning fireplace insert installed, so we will be burning wood this fall and winter. I built a rack for the firewood at the end of the porch, enclosed on the back and sides. Using this tarp to cover the top and front. Don't want this to be a saggy / crumpled cover so the frame has bolts matching the positions of the grommets (18" placement) along the sides so that the wood will be covered, remain in place. It's on tight, but it's also easy to remove from the left, right or front of the stack. The 5mm cover is plenty thick for the needs, so we should certainly get more than a single season of use. ... show more

  • As described
Review for 5x7 Tarp Waterproof Plastic Tarp with Grommet This tarp is definitely lightweight and best suited for medium-duty use, just as the description states. I wouldn’t call it super high-quality, especially given that it’s priced a bit on the higher side, but it does the job. I used it to cover mulch temporarily, and it worked just fine. The fact that it’s waterproof is a big plus, and overall it served the purpose I needed it for. ... show more

  • Good compact tarp for light-duty coverage
I grabbed this tarp mainly for camping and quick weather cover tasks, and it does the job as long as you don’t push it too hard. The 5 mil thickness isn’t meant for heavy-duty use, but it’s held up well against light rain and UV exposure so far. The blue/silver reversible sides are useful too — I use the silver side out to reflect heat when covering gear in the sun. Grommets are spaced every 18 inches, which gives you enough tie-down options without needing extra reinforcement. Just be gentle when tightening — this isn’t the kind of tarp you want to crank down with tension. Size is ideal for small gear, firewood, or a quick shelter. If you’re expecting heavy wind or rugged conditions, you’ll probably want something thicker, but for basic use around the yard or campsite, it works fine. Handy to keep around for short-term, light coverage needs. ... show more

  • Will not withstand our 90 mph winds. No way.
This tarp is great for taking a quick load to the dump, covering debris, or other very light duty projects. If you need this to cover firewood or hold in for a full winter season, there is no chance it will survive the duration. It is quite thin. The gromets do allow it to be tightened, but with how thin it is, it is my experience that it won't survive very strong wind. I could be wrong, but I doubt it. I will be making sure to upgrade the outdoor needs to the heavy duty ones. ... show more

  • Decent light used tarp
It's a $10 5x7 tarp. It's not the best or the worst deal in that price range, nor is it the least or most durable tarp I've ever seen. With all that in mind, I feel like the price point is decently middling for a decently middling tarp. The silver side does not appear to be thermal. Regulating any appreciable way, but it probably wouldn't hurt for a tarp to put under like an air mattress when camping ... show more

  • Great lighter weight tarp
I plan on using this KING-A-MA-JIGS 5x7 Waterproof tarp for yardwork and for under a tent while camping. It is perfect for dragging across the yard with yard debris on it. Under a tent as a foundation it will be just the right size for a 4 person tent. It is a little lighter weight than I am use to, but it should definitely get the job done. The corners are renforced with a fake leather band. Each eyelet is inches apart. One eyelet has a bit of damage on it from installing it. It should will work fine. ... show more

  • decent medium thickness, some banged up grommets
I got this 5x7 foot tarp from King-A-Ma-Jigs to use while camping. I wanted to have a small extra tarp "just in case." I may use it under my tent, but most likely just to protect things in event of rain. It's medium thickness and seems sturdy enough. My only disappointment was that some of the grommets are banged up. Otherwise it's what I was expecting. ... show more
