When I ordered these drapes I did not notice they had metallic silver waves going down them. So I was surprised when they arrived. I’m not fond of metallic and it is not what I had in mind. The height of the existing rod I’m using was suitable for back-tab and rod-pocket drapes/curtains but the grommets on these drapes raise the bottom of the drape higher than expected by a couple of inches. Something to keep in mind and learn from my mistake. They are definitely blackout curtains and I expect they will do a decent job of blocking the cold that seeps through the glass. I tossed them in the dryer on touchup setting for a few minutes and all the fold lines disappeared. They are well made with adequate seams and bottom hem. I just noticed that the backside is already covered in dog hair. My dog is a horrible shedder and the drapes hang in her window where she can keep an eye on the neighborhood. I would not have ordered them had I known all this. But, just because they are not right for me doesn’t mean they won’t be perfect for someone else.

These are some well-made and heavy curtains. They're made from a smooth, almost satin like material (both front and back). The metallic design is pretty and very shiny. If shiny metallic isn't your thing though, you may want to skip this design as it's quite prominent. They do a great job of keeping my room dark, with the added bonus of keeping the sound of the nearby freeway down to a very quiet rumble. It's the wrong time of the year to worry about ambient heat from the sun and how well it will block heat, but I can say that the empty space between my window and the curtains is noticeably cooler even with the heat vent being right above the window. So it's at least good at keeping warm air from leeching out the windows in winter. Out of all the blackout curtains I've used these are probably my favorite. Well worth buying.

Very attractive blackout curtains with a silver metallic weave pattern that will work well in the bedroom where I will hang them. The black backing should be perfect for blocking the strong desert sun that currently streams into that room during the summer, even though I have Venetian blinds there. These curtains are heavy, but my curtain rod should be able to carry them.

The material is quite heavy and the blackout part is tightly knit to keep out all the light. The stitching is great, no loose strings, grommets are well sown. The gray background material has a sheen to it. The metallic wave part is silver and shiny as described. Kind of unfortunate because it's a quality curtain that looks a bit cheap with the shiny, silver metallic. If these are available in different colors with less striking metallic striping I would highly recommend. If you like shiny these silver metallic ones are for you.

The media could not be loaded. The packaging was very nice. The plastic was packed with the double reinforced closures. Never seen like this on any plastic packing before. The material of the curtains is quite thick and definitely blackout and noise proof to some extent. It has rings for hanging on the curtain rods. It was very easy to install due to smooth rings which I put in all together. The color and design is as expected and I love the glittery curvy design on it. The material is soft and thick. They are machine washable.

The media could not be loaded. I chose these gray blackout curtains with silver wave pattern as a way to update my living room. I like the easy slide metal grommets and the fact these are double fabric with a front design and back which is solid black. These definitely block out all light and have a modern and clean look. I wasn’t sure I’d love the silver print, but I find they look pretty nice in the room. They came folded but the material isn’t wrinkled or lined at all and they hung beautifully without any need for a steam or iron. The hems are stitched securely and the grommets are thick and shiny metal. Overall I’m extremely happy with these blackout curtains and believe the price is reasonable.
