Very nice product for the price. This is my second smonet . The old was just that very old but did have a built in 10” video screen. This one did not but no big deal. Got an old 15” vga monitor most people throw away. Also connected to tv via hdmi. See pics Wireless range on new unit is WAY better. Old dvr lost a camera from time to time. Very happy with product. Feel secure. Even local police have used my video twice for concerns in the neighborhood. I did. Need to call support for getting app to work outside my network. Works now. Support was helpful and for me through it easily.

The video quality is great. tech support is good and will help out with anything you don’t understand. I couldn’t figure out the password to open the menu but you leave it blank then hit log-in then it will take you to the password set up process. Other than that I had no issues setting them up. It also has good signal distance that surprised me.

Crisp and clear images. I did not see two items that I would like to buy for the system 1. battery pack with solar charger 2. Additional cameras in a 4 pack, with a option for pan and tilt cameras would be a plus. Also a list of cameras that are compatible to the system

Hard drive arrived dead, shame on me for installing literally everything and then plugging in the receiver to find that out, so can't return the entire unit now. Out another $100 just to replace the junk they sent with the unit. Not happy at all. Cameras work fine. As other have said, the OS is wonky and the Engrish is hilarious at times. If you haven't dealt with ESL or non-English speaking people who don't know proper words (or translations), this system might drive you nuts.

We ordered these cameras to monitor the entry to our neighborhood. We set up The NVR at a close by house and then put the wireless cameras at the entrance. Worked very well. My only complaint is we live in central time zone and no service was available till 8 PM at night. Instructions were minimal and needed to Speak with Nacho in Hong Kong. He was very helpful.

One of the reviews I read before I purchased the unit said it does not show movement as soon as it happens, but has a delay in displaying movement. I found this to be the case, but it is good enough for me for the price I paid. Two of the problems I found is that I can only replay one camera at a time and although you can go from HD to SD, it again only does it one camera at a time when you are reviewing what happened. I have not been able to get the motion sensor to work, but the problem is probably that I am trying to cover a large open parking lot and not a small inside area. It does have one-way sound recording and does not allow you to speak through the cameras (I do not need this capability so it is no problem to me). Overall, this is a good purchase for my use.
