Cute is just not good enough to describe this twine holder! Yes it is cute! The cutest! But it is sooo useful. I have had mine at least a year. I adore it! This is the only pair of scissors in my house that are always where they belong....that’s because it is just cuter with them in place...so since the looks are almost as important to me as function....I always put them up! The most difficult thing is I am never sure where to purchase, or what size refills of the twine . The stand is heavy, and the scissors are great! Just did some Christmas with both the scissors and then tied some of them with twine....after all, “brown paper packages tied up with strings, these are a few of my favorite things”....Two of my best friends will be blessed with this set for their Christmas present! Lucky friends!

I love the farmhouse look, love antiques and vintage items and love to do crafts. This twine holder is so very pretty, it's heavy just like a real antique twine holder would be. It's great that the scissors fit right on top so you will always have something to cut the twine with. I love the old fashioned scissors too. When I go to the rendezvous festivals around town I have seen those vintage type scissors and always think I should buy some. Well now I have them and a pretty twine holder to boot. This should last a lifetime. Great purchase for me.

This is a cute idea. The scissors are very stiff but that is fixable. 4 stars are for the seller who continually was raising and lowering the price. So aggravating! Would not order another, as I had planned, to give as a gift for this reason.
