I wasn't expecting much from this, but it's proven to be a lot of fun. There are some old and obscure games that have been fun to play. The response to the controls is decent. The screen isn't great, but good enough to display the vintage game stored in this. The small screen is the most limiting factor. It does have a composite out jack and cable so if you had a composite to HDMI box you could play the games on a larger screen. For the price this is well worth a try. ... show more

I have been playing video games forever it seems. First unit was called Pong and have had most units since and am still enjoying games. I especially love the old retro games from when arcades were at their peak. This nice little handheld unit has so many of those games most of us remember, and some we don't. The buttons are pretty much in a standard layout and are easy to use. When you boot up you choose your language, English or Chinese. You then get a menu of hundreds of games to scroll through. Fortunately, you can scroll either way, using the up/down keys, and don't have to go through the whole list to get to the end. The unit is rechargeable and standalone so it can be taken and used anywhere. Great for passing the time or for keeping the kids occupied. It has a small 2.5 inch color screen built in but it can be connected to a larger display via the supplies AV cable. The charging cable is included as well. Great value for the money. This is only something you want to consider if you are looking for something that feels cheap, doesn't play the games correctly, has abysmal controls and to us was very disappointing. After installing the battery and charging the handheld, we tried a few games but had little to no luck with most of them. The timing of their emulator seems off which in this day and age is something that a 2nd year programming student could likely fix. It might be entertaining for a child but for us it was at best a 2-star product and one that we would't recommend. ... show more
