This item to this point has met expectations though I’ve only had it for approximately three weeks. This product does require assembly, which at first could appear daunting, but a close follow of the instruction manual and the offered video work well together to facilitate the process of assembly. When finished you have yourself a finally tuned seed/salt spreader that could last for generations to come. I was even the more fortunate to cop this item as used one, even though it as unused, as all parts came in it’s original packaging, which tells me someone ordered it, maybe, and when they saw what the actual assembly entailed, they were immediately discouraged and repackaged it for return. I said all that to say this, see the process through and assembly will be as wise made simple. If one is advertised as used for sale take a shot in the dark. It may come up all golden and if not just return it. You lost nothing in doing this if the opportunity presents itself. Happy shopping!

Looked like it would be durable, we were wrong. After about 3 uses one wheel came off. Hubby thought it could be fixed but after looking at it more it can't without redoing the whole piece or rigging it a different way, which he tried. Wouldn't buy it again, cheap parts not meant to last. We do like the plastic cap that goes over the bucket part and how much it holds so gave it 1 star. We are 2 days over the 30 day return window. Can't find any warranty information on the product on my order. Spend the money on a different one!

I sent this message once before. You will need to assemble this thing. I did and just seeded and fertilized my neighbors yard and it worked great so please buy one.
