Really nice looking boots, I am very happy I ordered them. I have small calves and I was so happy when trying them on and the calf fit me perfectly. Definitely for narrow feet, hopefully I will be able to break them in. I ordered my true size 8 and the length is true to size.

I have bought many so-called “wide calf” boots and most of them I wind up giving away or only wearing with tights. I can actually wear skinny leg jeans with these boots. ❤️ Absolutely love them. I honestly felt uncertain whether I should purchase the boots or not as I am a very petite person (4'10 tall). I am also skinny and many reviews said the width on the leg was quite big so I was quite concerned that they might be too big for my legs. Turned out, these fitted a skinny petite person like me very well. They also looks so cute. The boots give you the idea of fancy material and English classic country vibe. I have a hard time finding tall boots that fit my calves (I need a 17 circumference if I want to wear my tall boots with anything thicker than tights/leggings, which I don't think is that big, definitely the smaller end of the "wide calf" size). And finding boots that are "high-end" designer are almost impossible, so imagine my surprise when I tried a pair of Tommy Hilfiger WC boots at my local department store last year on a whim. And they fit!! Those were the Tommy Ilia riding boots, size 8.5 WC. These Shano style riding boots are a similar fit in terms of boot shaft to the Ilia. Zips easily, but I've not yet worn them with anything thicker than fleece-lined tights. And, personally, I like the more minimalist style compared to the Ilia. The only thing that I would flag is that the toe box in the Shano style is a little snug (I also have wide feet in addition to wide calves). I ordered them 8.5 WC, same as my first Tommy pair. The first time i wore the Shano boots the pain was so bad I had to pop 4 advil during my 8-hour, largely sedentary desk job, and by the end of the day I was definitely ready to kick the boots off and have done with them. I wore the boots for the third time yesterday since buying them, and no advil needed. So it seems like walking in/wearing the boots is sufficient enough to stretch the toe box. ... show more

I have wide feet as well as wide calves so finding boots to fit both and look nice is a struggle. Knowing that I could return I started with my normal size (8). The 8 arrived nicely packaged with all of the support stuffers, pretty green packing paper. Definitely a new pair of boots. They fit but were a bit tight on my feet and I didn’t want to risk damaging them quickly. So I sent them back and order the 8.5 These arrived in a damaged box with no support stuffing, a single piece a paper between them, the plastic protector over the TH on the top was half ripped off and they had the “i’ve been worn” toe creases on both boots, and there was stitching coming lose on one of the boots. I am assuming these were a returned pair that were not quality checked before being added back to the shelf. That said they do fit, so I had to return these as well and I will place another order when I get my refund. Overall I do like the style and the fit (can not yet comment on overall comfort) and I’m hoping for 3rd Times a charm because they are for an event next week. ... show more

Tommy Hilfiger This boot is not suede at the top. I had the boots returned . So, I reordered the boots n they came back the same way. False advertising this boot. They are leather all the way.

    • These are VERY wide calf
These are not leather so I'm hoping they will be comfortable for long day wear. I had a similar pair in leather a few years ago but eventually they wore out and was looking to replace and am hopeful these Tommy Hilfiger will last even if theyre PU. I do have wide calves and wanted to make sure any rrokacement pair wouldn't be snug so when I found these I was pleasantly surprised. The top calf area is uper duper wide, so they gap out and not ideal if it rains. We shall see. ... show more
