I bought this cable to run from my computer to my tv. Probably only needed a 25ft cable but opted for the 50 for those just in case situations. Good strong and thick cable. Picture quality is great and switching the HD audio back is forth is a breeze with great sound. Worth the purchase.

The HDMI Cable is really beefy. I’m glad of that because some will be exposed as it’s going to run on the outside of the house. Our security System has a couple of ways for outputs. Living room is on VGA and HDMI is ran from the living room out along the side of house then into main bedroom Already have a wireless mouse that reaches that far. The current set up was unreliable so a hardline was needed. This 50 foot should do it. May upgrade from 3 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️ To 5 if works as advertised. Will update in couple weeks. (Update) 17 June 2018, Added a forth star. Hooked up the surveillance monitor in Master bedroom, did it early this morning. Looks great. Picture quality is just as it should be. The 50 Feet didn’t degrade picture quality as far as I can tell. Added 4th star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, will revisit in couple months of use.(Update) 27 June 2018, Final entry. The HDMI Cable is doing just fine. No change in picture quality so this ends this review. 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Update (28 October 2018) still working strong with no problems, still 5 Stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ! I bought this cable (at the time it was sold by Amazon LLC) and have been using it under my house from a DISH DVR to an HDTV in my bedroom with no problems! No hiccups, no clarity issues, no problems at all. I did purposefully wait to review it as some other reviewers indicated they had failures after a month or more. No problems with this one for me! Happy so far, it was installed in late October, 2015, so has been performing well for nearly 6 months. It cost less at the time than most other 50 footers and performs just fine. Picture and sound have no problems and am enjoying HD in my bedroom. DISH installers (they charge much more if you buy cable from them) said it was a fine cable and did not recommend I use the extensions (or called port savers). Plenty of flexibility, good coating on the cable, working great! Not a heavy cable so no need for the port savers anyway. I suppose if you constantly moved your equipment around, they may be something to consider, but I am all set with where my equipment is and if I ever need to re-arrange, will just be cautious with the HDMI- it is not fragile, just don't want to damage it or the equipment. If equipment can withstand a screwed in coax cable, this is not a problem at all. Returned the MediaBridge cable as it was higher cost and didn't get questions answered from their support team, so stayed with this, it works great and DISH says A-OK, and has been proven to me I made the right choice! ... show more

I ordered a 50 foot version of this HDMI cable because I was in the middle of a project where I was mounting a projector to the ceiling of a classroom, and needed the display cable, in my case HDMI, to reach the teachers desk. I routed it through the drop ceiling, and dropped it down a corner of the wall for now. Worked straight out of the box after configuring my projector to use it's HDMI port. 🙂 Build quality seems quite good, but that also means it is a bit stiff. I unrolled it and worked out all the could before running it where I wanted it. Overall, I'm very pleased with the product, and don't know that there is anything to change to make the product better. Would definitely buy again. I am only using this to transmit 1080p 60hz video, so I cannot atest to it's ability to transmit 4k resolution. The coil isn't as strong/stiff as some other HDMI cables I've used, making it easier to route in tight spaces. The cable feels nice in the hand and performs as expected, with the caveat that my projector is only HD, so I can't speak for higher bandwidth applications. Received this wire in good condition with fast shipping from the seller!! I like this wire. So fare Ive laid 3 150' lines between my new shop and my home, one being network/ internet and the two others will be used for CCTV cameras. No problems of any kind buried well and it works.... I guess I can pick at the goo that the wires are encased in, your fingers can get quite slippery making then job of attaching the jack a difficult process in the beginning. a paper towel and some patents goes a long way. Nothing to say but good on this underground wire, I feel sold at a fair price 1000ft @ $160 shipping included..Remember to be genital when working into you trench. Kinking and cold Break wire and working the wire into a shape of a roller coaster also causes breakage. something you d0ont want to find out has happened after a day of playing in the dirt burring cable that is useless now not knowing where the break is . Last minute Note....I was able to test the camera (s) over the two 150' lines I have installed and report ,excellent results Great video.
