Description

This Ohio Steel Lawn Sweeper features a super capacity 26 cu. ft. heavy-duty collector bag and an extra-wide 50 in. sweeping path allowing you to get your lawn care finished quickly. Patented spiral brush sweeps more efficiently than standard sweepers and puts less stress on gears for long service life. "No- slip" positive lock height adjustment has numbered height settings that can be changed while viewing brush for proper adjustment. Hopper bag empties by pulling rope from the seat of your tractor – just reverse to debris or compost area, pull the rope and you're done! Extra wide 9 in. chute is less likely to clog, especially when sweeping damp grass clippings that can clump together. Reversible hitch allows for efficient level operation with any tractor hitch height – without the use of easy to lose spacer rings!

I've been looking at this thing for two years now watching the price go up and back down, unsure if I wanted to pull the trigger or not. Well it's WELL worth the money. Well built and works great. Of course it picks up grass clippings easily but it does decent with sticks and great with leaves. Assembly was easy. Lost the left tire today. It's out there somewhere, hopefully I can find it. Easy to assemble instructions. Adjustable sweeping depth. Towed behind my ATV after mowing with my DR Field Mower and it picks up grass, pine cones and smaller sticks with ease. Extremely satisfied with this tool.

Waited a little over a year to leave my review post purchase. WORTHLESS PIECE OF CRAP!! This thing barely picks up the clippings and will not stay at the setting I put it at!! If I set it to height 3 or 4, as an example, within 20ft it's popped back to 1 and won't spin to pick anything up at all! I'd use it to light my bon fire if I hadn't spent so much money on the stupid thing!! Hate it!! As for durability, it started falling apart within 4 months. ... show more

This lawn sweeper does a great job picking up leaves, grass clipping, small twigs and acorns. I was able cover 2.5 acres in under an hour. It's heavy duty and fits perfectly behind my 50" zero turn mower. Assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow. Bag detaches from sweeper for more compact storage. Replacement parts are readily available from Ohio Steel but I don't expect to need anything soon. This is a heavy duty unit! ... show more

Havnt used it yet. I know it’s going to work great just by assembling it. Assembly was very easy. Quality seems to be good. For the money though… you’d imagine they’d use a higher quality sticker. This giant cheap advertisement sticker really put a damper on my mood after spending the time assembling it. It’s a few cents Ohio Steel.. and should not be there in the first place! ... show more

Pros: - Well made, materials feel durable. - Instructions solid and written by someone that speaks English as their primary language. - Functions well. It sweeps and dumps smoothly and is easy to adjust. - Made in the USA. Cons - Heavy leaves require a dump every 20-25 feet. - I’ll probably need to get a stronger mower to pull it on a regular basis since my current one has a hydrostatic transmission (at least that’s what I’m going to tell my wife when I want to buy a new, bigger mower! I was looking for a bagger and came across this sweeper. Works great on grass clippings and leaves. Easy to attach to my cub cadet but the mower side discharges and this sweeps directly behind so a little extra driving is required. It will easily sweep what’s on top of the lawn but doesn’t get down into the nooks and crannies very well. As such, I’ll run the blades to lift old leaves and then run over it again with the sweeper and that works well. Glad I got this over a clunky bagger.
