I am just loving this wireless thermometer. Now I say wireless but that just means I can wireless monitor the temp. There is still a thermometer device stuck into whatever you are watching the temp of like a roast or a steak. The build quality isn't amazing at the main unit has a thin plastic feel that seems quite hollow. But I have been using it for some time now and nothing has broken yet. The part that you stick into whatever you are cooking is metal with a plastic top. I was worried about that plastic top but it hasn't shown any signs of melting even when cooking for hours at 375. . I found that the signal is about what you would expect with middle of the road bluetooth system. Good enough to be 2-3 rooms away including a couple of walls but that is about it. Accuracy seems fine. It is within 3-4 degrees of my...I guess you would call it "analog" cooking thermometer. So not ultra accur ate but certainly good enough for cooking at home. All in all I am quite happy with this and love to be able to monitor the temp of what I am cooking from the comfort of my chair in the living room and not having to constantly open the oven to check the temp as that always increases cooking time because you keep letting out all the contained hot air in the oven.

This meat thermometer gives an instant temp reading that is easy to read on the large digital display. The probe is long enough that we can use this while grilling with out our hand getting to close to the heat. The probe folds down for easy storage. I really like that this thermometer has a temperature guide for each type of meat, so we don't have to remember or look the temperature range up for what we're cooking.

I was making a prime rib roast last night and based on the probe, I was able to take it out of the oven long before I would have guessed. It saved my dinner party! Now, one could also use a standard meat thermometer, but you would have to keep opening up the oven to check it, and the time to take out your roast can be a very small window. The base of the thermometer is very easy to use. It tells you current temp and has a ceiling temp. When the probe temp hits the ceiling temp, the alarm alerts you to it. Connecting it to the app w/ my iPhone was also easy. The name of the app is JOYBIBIQ. However, the name of the product is different, probably because it's a white-label product. With the app installed, it paired with the thermometer base with a single click after opening the app. If you set the ceiling temp on the base, it is reflected on the app (and vice-versa). The thermometer base needs to remain close to the oven, but the app allows you to roam quite far away and still get alerted on your phone. The app also tells you what temperatures to aim for depending on what you are cooking. It's very simple, but it does exactly what it needs to do. Don't make your cooking more stressful on yourself. Use a tethered probe. Enjoy perfectly cooked meat every time.

This thermometer works great, like any thermometer should! It reliably gets an accurate reading of the food I'm cooking, and does so in a standard amount of time, about 5-10 seconds or so. The backlight is a highly-appreciated feature, and the battery is still going strong, even after all these months of using it without replacing the battery! The metal needle has yet to show any signs of rusting, and still works as great as it did when I initially received this product. The design is simple, intuitive, and feels great to hold. I don't think anyone confused this product for anything else, and knew how to use it immediately after I handed it to them for the first time, despite never having seen a digital thermometer like it before. Overall, this is a great, reliable product. Highly recommended!

This instant read thermometer is a nice addition to your kitchen tools. It is well crafted and easy to read. You can change the setting from F to C depending upon your preferences. It also is very easy to use -- just flip out the probe/sensor from the folded to the open position and it instantly engages to the "on" position. Plunge the probe into a liquid and you have a temperature reading in a second; push it into a piece of meat and you will have the internal temperature in about two seconds -- very quick reading. On end of the tool has a bottle opener -- which is both very handy and also very anachronistic, since most bottle now come with an easy twist-off cap (but useful for those soda or beer bottles that still require an opener). You can also use this open space to hang the thermometer on a hook or nail in your kitchen -- very handy for grabbing when needed. The digital temperature readout is both bright and nicely sized -- so you have no guessing when trying to read the temperature. Also, it's nice to have the doneness temperatures of meat, fish and poultry written on the thermometer -- quick reference when you are measuring the internal temperature of the product you are cooking. All in all this is a very nice instant read thermometer that does its job quickly, easily, clearly and efficiently -- a nice addition to your kitchen (or grill) tool kit.
