The price and convenience of the size of these was good, so I was willing to deal with some minor issues. Most pieces were slightly dented or scratched. Also there is a sheet of plastic on each piece - similar to when you get some appliance and then after like a year you realize there was a clear sheet of plastic over the face of it that maybe you were supposed to take off when you got it. I didn't realize this until I was about halfway through my project, and there was nothing in the box that mentioned the plastic, so I have no idea if it is something I was supposed to remove or not. But, seeing that it is lifting up in places where they scratched, I'm guessing I was supposed to peel it off, which is likely impossible now that they are all screwed in. I started peeling the plastic off one extra piece and it's not exactly easy - it doesn't want to come off in one sheet. That's annoying. ... show more

Don't expect it to be the same quality or thickness you would place on your home. These are very thin panels without a doubt, but they are perfect for what I used them for on a playhouse for my kids. Way cheaper and easier than using traditional asphalt shingles. I started around 8am & working solo I was able to finish roofing the entire 8'x10' roof before noon. Only thing you definitely need to buy your own roofing screws with rubber washers, the included screws are not adequate for mounting this. Not even close. ... show more
