I know that it seems like a metal hose would be heavier and less flexible than typical plastic or rubber garden hoses, but the opposite is true. I have three outdoor faucets, and each has a metal hose similar to this Aenffow 25-foot hose. If you take anything away from my review, it should be that a metal hose is lighter, more flexible, less likely to get pinched off, far easier to stretch out and coil back up, and totally resistant to being stepped on. I will never get another plastic/rubber garden hose -- for just a little more money, a metal hose like the Aenffow 25-foot hose is just easier to live with. Life is a struggle... who needs to struggle with a hose?? My Aenffow 25-foot hose measures 25.5 feet, so good on Aenffow to deliver more than it promised. It came with some extra gaskets that can be used in either the female fitting on the hose or in the female fitting on the attachment you connect to the male end of the hose. Like all metal hoses in my experience, the Aenffow hose is easy to stretch out when I begin using it, and easy to coil up when I'm done. There is almost never a tangle or a hopeless loop that has to be tediously unsnarled. Really. Once you try a metal hose, you will think, "Why has nobody told me about this before?" Look at the photo I posted of the side-panel of the box that the hose came in. It explains the primary features of the hose, and I can state that they are correct. The Aenffow 25-foot hose is a good value and is all you need if you're in a townhome with a tiny back yard. I just needed it to reach the birdbath in my front yard, and the Aenffow hose fits the bill for that. I recommend it.

So far I love this hose. Kind of want to replace all the hoses in my yard with stainless steel hoses. It is so small and lightweight as compared to my rubber hoses. I have been searching for a lightweight hose that I could hang next to our deck..something that I could use to fill up my sons water table and water the flower beds that surround our deck and fire pit. This hose has been perfect. I was a little concerned that the 25 ft length wouldn't allow me enough flexibility, but it has turned out to be a great length. It is long enough to reach all sides of our large deck. Because it is is so light, I don't mind pulling it out just to fill up one of my sons toys with water. It moves effortlessly across the deck and ground. And so far it stays much cleaner than our old rubber hoses. I love that it can't kink on itself like rubber hoses do. However, it does take a little effort to get it the hang flat over a hose hook. The metal makes it want to stand proud instead of just hang down. We were able to get it to hang flat the way we wanted, but just had to play with it a bit and make sure we weren't trying to coil it too tightly. Once it is hanging it is so compact. I'm sure it will get very hot in summer. I don't like the idea of my hose burning me if it accidentally touches my leg. We haven't notices to be a problem yet, but we haven't hit 90 degree days yet either. So have to wait and see if this is a problem as temperatures rise.

OK, the first thing I thought of when I saw a stainless steel hose is that it’s going to be ridiculously heavy. And then the second thing I thought of is that when the sun hits it, it’s going to get ridiculously hot. But a friend of mine said no no these are the best hoses you could get. I didn’t believe him. But, I really needed a hose and I decided to give it a shot. Keep in mind. I also ordered what I consider a normal garden hose and that is a rubber one. Both of them arrived but I decided to try this steel one first. I had to eat my words. I am so flabbergasted at the difference between a stainless steel hose and a plastic or rubber hose. Not only is a stainless steel hose more flexible than a rubber hose, it’s lighter weight and doesn’t get the least bit hot and doesn’t get ice cold. And, a big positive, it does not kink! I cannot believe how durable this hose is also. I ran over it with my car and it didn’t even bend. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to another kind of hose. I am a stainless steel hose for life girl! I cannot recommend this type of hose anymore than I am now! Go get yourself one!. I have 2 of these hooked together.

Here in the desert it's a good idea to have very sturdy outdoor equipment, if one chooses to garden, which I do. Although a stainless steel garden hose was something that never occurred to me to obtain, when I saw this, I knew I had to try it. I was very surprised at how light the package was, and when I opened it, delighted to see how easily this hose rolls up. I went out immediately and attached it to the garden hose already in place (as I had a short-ish hose already, and needed to lengthen it) and surprisingly, there wasn't a single leak anywhere, even though the seller had thoughtfully provided me with some washers and even some plumber's tape, just in case. I'll set them aside to be used later if needed, but as it stands now, NO leaks anywhere. Remarkably easy to hook up to a second hose, too! One warning, if you haven't owned a stainless steel hose before: you probably will have to store it in the sun, which is not harmful to the hose, but during the hottest/sunniest part of the day, be careful when picking it up because it likely will be HOT!!, AND be sure to run water through the hose until it runs cool, so you don't kill your plants with extra-hot water.

Have been slowly replacing all of my hoses with these metal clad ones — been using 25’ lengths — in case of failure I would just change out that section — the connectors look to be attached well — the anti-kink tubes at the connectors are screwed on rather than pressed on — this type of hose has a smaller inside diameter so you give up some volume to have a lighter anti-kink metal clad hose — if these come in a larger inside diameter I haven’t seen one — only 2 years into this change-over — have had one failure, I believe due to leaving it outside over winter — I think water got into the metal and froze tearing the inside PVC layer — it was spraying from multiple locations all at once on 1st use of the season — I now have quick couplers on all my hoses — over 200’ can be stored in a 5 gallon bucket with room left over — no more fighting with rubber or vinyl and trying to find a place to store the bulkier hoses over winter — time will tell but so far I recommend these hoses from this seller

The stainless water hose is the second I have ordered, the other made by another company and very similar in price. I love the lack of kinks in this hose. It looks nice on our porch, has sturdy hardware, and has a nice feel when using it. No tripping on this hose as it does not get twisted and loop up to catch my feet. It may seem expensive, but think about those rubber hoses that get tangled, develop leaks, and require repair kits. This hose seems like a nice step up! I am happy with it!

We order a lot of these kinds of hoses. I love the metal hoses because they are very very light, durable, and about the only hose that really can't kink. Outside of a horse stepping on one they don't bend easily. As for this hose it is a top hose in comparison to most others. It has a nice feel to it and ironically you can tell in about three seconds holding one of these if they are great or not. I knew this was a premium hose as soon as I picked it up. Totally different technology and it takes a bit to get used to them. Avoid the super cheap metal hoses because they tend to have not only a thin outside but the inside as well. I like the brass ends with this hose.. really all the way around this is a very nice hose- they didn't cut any corners or use cheap metal.
