Nice hose. Quality brass fittings. When I received this hose, the on & off lever was stuck closed. There's a tiny screw on top of the lever. I backed it part of the way out, till I was able to move the lever. Carefully tightened the screw back up, works fine now.

This is an excellent hose. Fittings connect well and it doesn't kink at all. Ours is next to the driveway and I've driven over it several times with my car and the hose has not sustained any damage.

I b should have found a longer one of these. Really great feel with no tangles and easily rolled back up for storage. Maybe a little heavy but it feels like it will last a while.. Comes with silicon tape for sealing threads and spare rings for the inside.

These steel hoses are a game changer. I have several of them in various portions of the yard. They are lightweight and easy to handle and don’t kink up, no matter how much they get twisted around. I believe the metal sheathing is aluminum because of how lightweight it is. It came with the plumbers tape and washers for easy set up. I haven’t experienced any leaks so far and because they are so lightweight, they are easy to handle around the yard. Word of advice, be sure to use the plumbers tape as it will help prevent any leakage for the connectors. ... show more

Wish I had gotten this sooner! I LOVE it. I’ve have every type of hose except this stainless steel one. Every one of them either kinks, deteriorates or you have to let the shrink/flexible/expanding hoses fill up with water 1st before you can use them and then let it drain and waste water before it shrinks to store. So annoying. I purchased a bidet for my home toilet that has this kind of hose and it is awesome so I jumped at the opportunity to try this hose for my courtyard. It is a GEM. It’s just right at 10 feet and it is so flexible and durable. Never kinks. Never leaks. I keep it in my shed away from Florida sun but it’s pretty hot usually, however it doesn’t feel hot to touch EVER. I had one of those standard green rubber hoses before but some critters decided to try it for food - or enjoyment - but ruined my hose. Not likely with this one. And it’s attractive at that. For me there are no cons and a good value as I expect to be able to use it for a long time. ... show more

    • Crazy good hose
I just came in from my backyard where i just tested this out. It worked great on its own and attached to the end of a longer hose. My package included 3 washers and some teflon tape which made me worry that it was gonna leak at the fittings. It did not. The hose ends went on smoothly and snugged down great and didn't leak even under extreme pressure of a high flow rate and a garden sprayer attached. No kinks moving around the yard and the plastic end reinforcements held up fine and didn't pinch my hand or bother me being there. 2 things i did notice , one being when i first turned it on full blast it actually jumped around and sprayed water everywhere and scared my dog, she got wet and booked it into the house and this could be dangerous if you got hit by it. The wild hose end flailing around, getting everything wet. It doesn't just lay there like a regular hose when you turn it on. Also i drug it through a dirt part of the yard and it got very muddy and messed up. All the grooves really pick up the mud but it was easy to rinse it off and it was good as new. When i was done it was easy to coil up and drain and put up. Good product. I'm glad i finally tried one of these hoses. I like them. ... show more

Excellent hose for our patio. Our prior plastic hoses kept breaking for whatever reason, but this one seems very sturdy. I gave it a try as we cleaned the balcony for the summer - no leaks, no kinks, and complaints from me. The water pressure that came out of it was good (though I must admit I'm not sure to what extent that is because of the hose or because of the sprayer). It was easy to put away and the fact that it's metal means it is less likely to get all tangled up. I cannot say enought good things about this hose. I love it. It never kinks and is very storng. Just dont run them over with the car. They look great and hold up super well. Honestly 10/10 would recommend.
