Pictures cannot do this chandelier justice. I was unsure about going with the cognac color , but, I am so glad I did. It is absolutely gorgeous. It wasn’t too hard to put together. Only thing is it is made of glass and a part fell and broke. Checked the store to see if I could just order the part that was broken. I wasn’t able to find it so I had to order a whole other chandelier for that one part.     • Gorgeous but Challenging

This chandelier is absolutely gorgeous, but it is challenging to assemble. After reading other’s reviews and reading the instructions, I hired an electrician to install and even he found it challenging. Once wires were assembled, he tested every bulb socket before proceeding and had to reverse some wires? I really wasn’t following what he was saying, because I am not an electrician and I decided then and there that I was glad I didn’t attempt the install myself. I’ve hung many light fixtures but this was not a simple task. He also mentioned that the housing in my ceiling was set up to be able to install multiple types and that if it wasn’t he would have had to go to Lowe’s to get the proper type. Just be aware that this might be an issue for you before you get too far in. I put all the beautiful drippy crystals on the assembled fixture and that was also challenging because they aren’t attached by hooks but little round rings like you find on key rings. 20/20 hind sight tells me that I should have attached the crystals to the glass bowls before assembling the “candle” portion of the arm. Trying to see what I was doing while the chandelier was hanging near my ceiling difficult. Despite the challenges, I still give this 5 stars because it is so pretty and was perfect to achieve the look I wanted in my bedroom. ... show more

Chandelier is nice quality for the price! Base is solid. However. The lamp wire that is entwined through the ganging chain is colored red & blue! Looks terrible. Fortunately, our electrical switched the wire to clear lamp wire.

Absolutely Gorgeous Sparkling Cognac Chandeliers .... We ordered 2 to start for the Foyer and Kitchen. We loved these SO much, we ordered 2 more for the DR and MBR. We live in an ATL Vintage Highrise. These are exquisite / high quality looking for a value price. The installer took some time (about 2 hours each chandelier, because they are delicate and require care plus the install of each Cognac Crystal). Family and Friends jaw drop ... these are Gold Cognac Color TRULY STUNNING. They were packed carefully and arrived fast. This lighting looks dazzling vintage Parisian style (in our opinion). European looking! When lit, your guests will be amazed!!! ... show more

The fixtures look good from 3ft away or more. But the closer you get, the cheaper they look. I am a commercial and industrial electrician that has installed thousands of fixtures and this fixture was designed with one thing in mind - price. The design and construction is poor. Additionally, the wires inside of the fixture are much too short and will require modification to wire into your support box. I would not purchase these again. ... show more

I am happy to provide a great review for the Ella Chandelier and Amazon! It arrived on time, all pieces were carefully wrapped and nothing was missing. Also, instructions were provided. It took my husband approximately 2 hours to put the Chandelier together but well worth the effort, it is absolutely beautiful. It looks even better than the picture. I have to admit, I didn't expect that this product would be a very high quality due to the price, but I am so thrilled with the beauty and workmanship. I did a lot of Chandelier shopping on the Internet for several weeks before I found this one and I couldn't be happier!! I always read reviews on an item prior to making a purchase. Many of the reviews from customers that purchased other Chandeliers had many issues with the product they received such as, instructions were missing, pieces were broken or missing, quality of the item was disappointing etc. This product does need to be installed by a certified electrician. We got this for a wedding and didn't put it to the test lighting it up but it is pretty and easy to assemble. It, however, was missing some hardware that we had to replace the day before the wedding. It was stressful but the but be were able to work with it.
