I was able to swap this out with the existing frame by myself (small woman). I appreciated that this came in a manageable box. The mattress frame was a perfect height to work with an antique headboard. It seems very stable and a good value. There are a lot of pieces and the directions are not very clear. That said, we did figure it out. It may have taken 20 to 30 minutes to put together.

Really easy to put together and my toddler loves it. We bought this because it is a lot cheaper than Montessori beds and keeps the mattress off of the floor! My toddler climbs on and off his 5 inch mattress with this platform with no problems.

Perfect for my toddler. I bought this to transition my son from his tiny floor bed to a big boy bed. This was easy to build and great quality for the price. He is only 2 and is able to climb up and down easily with no corners sticking out.
