I needed a quick solution to use my USB-C charging cables with older USB-A ports when switching between my devices. This one had a lot of great reviews so I went with it. What Worked Well: Super Convenient: I used it with multiple bricks and chords and it connected instantly without any setup issues. Compact Design: Tiny but sturdy, easy to toss in a bag or keep plugged in permanently. Good Build Quality: The adapter itself feels solid and well-made. There was no wiggling or disconnecting mid-use. Versatile Compatibility: Worked across all my USB-A ports from my car charger and laptop to wall plug with no weird errors or incompatibility issues. Things to Keep in Mind: Gets Warm During Charging: I noticed that the adapter got noticeably warm, especially during extended charging sessions with my phone. Not dangerously hot, but warm enough to make me pause. Slower Charging Speeds: Charging was slightly slower when I used this adapter vs. plugging the USB-C cable directly into a USB-C port (like my laptop). Still functional just not as fast as a direct connection. Not Ideal for Fast Charging: Great for convenience and casual use, but if you're in a rush or trying to fast-charge your phone, using the direct USB-C might be better. These are a great option if you need to plug a new iPhone into any other older charger. My car has only the original USB plug, so this allowed me to plug into that plug and enables me to now use my iPhone 17 in my car. They appear to be well made. Like the color and plug in easily.
