This pot had a learning curve for me. First time using it, the pause to serve button wasn't pressed enough so the coffee didn't all drip. There was a ton of grounds in the pot too. Second time using it, it worked fine but still tons of grounds. I was using the filter that came with it. So I checked that out and there's no hole in it?? So the coffee pours over the top of that and that's what you get to drink. This time I crammed a #2 cone paper filter and it worked great. All that aside it's a great pot! It makes about 2.5 of my mugs worth that I can just reheat as the day goes on. The biggest plus is that it will take a LOT of grounds, so it will make very strong coffee, which makes me very happy. ... show more

The automatic turn off is awesome!!!! When I leave work I do not think. Did I leave the coffee pot on at work? It turns off automatically and I tested it so I know. Very easy to use. For the price it’s perfect. I’ve bought over 25 coffee machines in the last 35 years. I highly recommend this one

If you don't mind waiting up to 15 mins for your coffee to brew, you'll love it, but if your like me & want a cup ASAP don't get it. Other than that, it works perfectly. Great space saver too.

I've used it a few times. I like the size. It doesn't take up a lot of precious counter space. It is perfect for making coffee for 1-2 people. After following the directions to run water through it a couple of times, it made a decent cup of coffee. I was impressed by how fast it brewed the coffee. I knocked one star off because the lid can be a bit problematic on closing. If you do not get it snapped down, it does not snug the floating basket against the carafe which prevents it from brewing. At first, I thought I had been sold a bill of questionable goods until I figured out that the lid had not snapped down. The lid is a bit flimsy. Not sure how long it will last. It might not survive one of my heavy-handed nephews. However, for the price, it'll do for the time being. I really like that it came with a permanent filter. I had to buy the permanent filter for my last machine. A big plus is I do not have to use a large measuring cup to fill the reservoir like the previous machine it replaced. It does remind me of the very first coffee maker my Mom gave me when I went off to college in the 70s. ... show more
