I have bought several of these OOSSXX systems and must say I'm very impressed. I bought two additional cameras to add into this eight camera wireless system and everything works with perfect compatibility. They are extremely easy to set up and use. The quality is unquestionable. The system practically sets itself up. Turn on the "brain" of the system (the DVR recorder), plug in the cameras one at a time, and each camera pairs automatically. You can rearrange the order of the cameras after placement so they will display in any order you wish. Early on I had a few questions about operation and spoke with Janet in OOSSXX customer service several times. She is excellent! Often customer service agents treat the customer as idiots, going through useless steps but Janet is not like that. She listens, knows her product and solves the issue quickly. She seems to sincerely care about the customer. I have had many unpleasant experiences with various customer service reps in other companies and Janet is outstanding. I have owned OOSSXX products for about a year now and I am very happy with their quality, reliability and excellent customer service. Recently I had one of my cameras go bad and after discussing it with Janet by phone she simply shipped me a new camera. No arguments, no hassles. Just great customer care. I highly recommend this company and these camera systems specifically. I've actually recommeded several of my friends buy these systems and they love them as well.

I purchased the 00SSXX security camara system October 2022. I installed six of eight camaras at that time. My property has several outbuildings and about 2 acres of land to cover. I installed three of the camaras outside in the elements and three of the camaras inside the outbuildings. The picture quality of all the camaras is outstanding as is the night vision. I am able to identify people at a distance of 600 feet in daylight and at about 80 feet in the darkness. I live in Michigan where we have harsh, snowy, cold winters and the outdoor camaras worked flawlessly in subzero snowy, slushy conditions without any problems. The outbuildings are about 600 feet from the internet hub that is used. The package comes with two remote antennas that I used for the interior of the outbuildings to boost the signal. They both work extremely well with the external antenna magnetically placed on the outside of the buildings. Set up for the camaras at the base station was intuitive and relatively easy, almost plug and play except for setting preferences for the alerts to my phone / E mail. The only difficulty I had when I got started was getting the camara view on my phone to display in a timely manner. They sent out an update for the app, and that problem disappeared. I would highly recommend this system as an affordable, high quality easy to operate and set up alternative to a subscription system. I am planning on installing the final two camaras inside of the house but have not yet completed that task. Update July 2023 - We were on vacation and an alert came across the phone that intruders were looking in windows and checking doors for security. We called the sheriff's department to intercept, but the intruders had seen our camera set up and hastily left. I returned to the house to meet with the sheriff and was able to provide them with several still photos and six videos from this system that were able to identify the intruders. The sheriff's department posted the videos both on their internet website as well as provided them to the local news station. We are waiting to see what results are provided in the coming days. Needless to say, our neighbors all asked for our system information and will be making several purchases.

Good price and delivery. Significant quality improvement over previous nvr. Higher quality views and more options in video and audio. My only problem is that mounting the cameras is a little awkward with all the screws for adjusting the camera position is difficult when putting the it in a close position.

Easy to install but the camera's lifespan is horrible, i bought extra cameras to replace them only to find out that they don't connect and it was too late to return them. The record function has stopped and the app is slow. Customer support is barely non existent. Would not recommend because now I have to buy new system.

Having never had a security system I was unsure where to start. I read tons of reviews and settled on this OOSSXX system, I have not been disappointed! Set Up and Configuration was easy, almost a plug and play format. Upon receipt of the system, I downloaded the PC software first, I wanted to be able to use my PC as well as a stand alone monitor. Once I had the the system setup the way I wanted it, I downloaded the software to my IOS smart phone and I was off and running. Alerts come almost immediately and the video as well as the audio work well. With the 6TB hard drive, I can access Video Playback on the monitor, it is somewhat slow and cumbersome, but it does work. The one area that I'm having problems with is the "cloud". The system would not initialize until I had purchased a cloud option. I did purchase the option, using the provided Device Cloud #/QR code stamped on the Hard Drive. I was notified that the cloud purchase was approved, but I keep getting messages that the cloud option is not available for use, not sure where to go from here. Also, previous comment answers from OOSSXX indicated that the system would operate without the cloud. I assumed that the 6TB Hard Drive would be able to handle playback through my WIFI and Email from the home base to my smart phone. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
