Very easy to install & mount camera. SOUND on cameras are amazing! You can hear people way before they show up on camera! While they do pick up all sound in the area, The cameras pick up sounds in the directions they are pointed towards very clear! BUT one thing I noticed when watching people 20-30 yards away, sometimes people DISAPPEAR into either streaks or only a shoe shows. I was going to give 4 stars but I haven't reached out to them to see if I could get help for the issue. But I will! Adding cameras, switching camera numbers is not easy and it's hard to find manuals or guides. There's also jargon that is confusing for me because it's not clear to understand for anyone who doesn't know the lingo and it's frustraiting to do anything above and beyond initial set up! Still plan on getting 3 more cameras from them as soon as I can afford them. For the money the Cons are well worth it!

The media could not be loaded. I bought these to go with my OHWOAI NVR system I had only bought the one with 2 cameras and we decided that we wanted 2 more afterwards but wanted them to be black and have 2 way audio and the night vision! Although I wished the night vision was as clear as my Roku outdoor camera.. but the 2 way audio is a must and really comes in handy especially with the cameras being black instead of white makes them less noticeable! I couldn't find any in the black in the ohwoai brand I verified with the company and made sure oossxx would work with my system and they were very helpful, understanding, and very quick to answer my questions! Reason I don't use the Roku camera anymore is it charges $9.99 a month to record events with the ohwoai system and NVR I don't have to connect it directly to my router it is wifi capable and I don't have to pay for a cloud subscription I can actually go straight through the honestview or eseecloud app and I can watch my playbacks by clicking local instead of the cloud! Also pretty easy to operate it took me a lil bit to really figure it out but I now get my email notifications and push notifications I have to use the eseecloud app to get my push notifications though....

I installed this 12-camera system in December 2025. It works reasonably well in many respects. Positive: The images on working cameras are clear, color is good, night vision mode works well on functional cameras, camera data rate is a little slow but is Okay, and sound quality is surprisingly good. The field of view is more narrow than I expected, but Okay. Set up was easy and reassigning camera designations is not difficult. Short distance reception is good. The dual antenae may help, but more than 50 yeards is unreliable. Remember that the base unit is placed indoors, so there is always one or more walls even inside. However, one camera that does not do night vision. I thought it might be the NIR LEDs, so I ordered and installed a 850nm NIR light source to place next to the disfunctional camera, but that did not fix the problem. My guess is that that camera sensor does not switch modes reliably. I sent a request for warranty service to OOSSXX, but have not recieved a reply after 2 weeks. I can hear clear sound from the cameras by selecting a camera for sound. However, It is sad that you can only speak through the cameras using a smart phone or separate pc. I would think a microphone jack on the base unit would not have been difficult to provide. The base unit is where my 4K smart TV is placed, so it would be an ideal place for a microphone. There are a few other issues I hope OOSSXX fixes some of these in future software updates. 1. The unit suddenly goes blank and all cameras turn off every 2-3 weeks. After this event, you only see 16 black boxes on the TV/monitor where camera images should be. The unit does not reset until power is turned off and back on manually. That means if you are away when this happens, there is no servelience until you return. This is not related to power glitches. A power interuption allows the until to show camera images again so inturupting power is how you fix this problem, albiet in the 16 camera mode. 2. Fast forward in replay mode is not fast. If I want to see when a coyote or other predator visited, it can take an hour to scan a day's video per camera. 3. This is a 12 camera system, but there is no 12 camera standard mode. You must do a custom set up each time to show 12 cameras at a time. This take 5-10 minutes each time and getting into the custom mode is touchy and takes a few attempts. 10 and 16 modes are available, but not 12. When the system turns itself off (see item 1) you need to reprogram the 12-camera mode after you manually resart the system. 16 camera windows appears to be the default, but these are too small windows to be very useful. 4. Occasionally a camera is forgotton by the base station. You need to go unlug and replug the camera in to reset it. This can be an issue for cameras monted up high or when a camera fails while you are away. Overall, it could be a good 12-camera survelience system with a few tweaks, and actual warranty support.
