  • Works very well, easy to use
Style: 4-Pin Connector
It's plug 'n play with the new Lincoln Powermig 210MP, which already has the wiring installed and a simple rocker switch to change to spool-gun mode. Watch a few YouTube videos before you buy one, there are some specific operating rules unique to aluminum spool-gun welding that you must follow. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ACl_W976SI MIG welding aluminum will not produce welds that look like the welds done by an experienced TIG welder, but it WILL produce welds that are strong and completely serviceable, even if they're not beautiful. You probably would never use it on a race car, but on farm equipment, boat trailers, loading ramps, dockboards and the like it does an excellent job and is quick and easy to use (and inexpensive, compared to the equipment required to TIG weld). • This is great. Easy hook up
Style: 4-Pin Connector
This is great. Easy hook up. Works fine. I have a Lincoln pro mig 180 dual and it plugged in, flipped the switch, hooked up to 100% Argon, and ready to go. I am not a pro at mig welding. I am 65 years old and still learning. I always wanted to aluminum weld and this give me the chance to do so. It is a little faster than regular mig. I hope to be able to get half way decent by the time I use up a couple rolls of wire.. I am happy with the product. It came quickly, in great packaging, and had everything...Thank You. P.S. I didn't receive any products or anything for this review. I don't give many reviews unless I am satisfied with a good product or very unhappy with a bad product. Thanks again for a great product. ... show more

  • Makes aluminum welding EASY
Style: 4-Pin Connector
I was always lead to believe that welding aluminum was challenging. This spool gun sure proved that idea wrong. It could not be easier to get excellent looking welds with this spool gun. I have been running it with my Lincoln 211i and have been getting excellent results on 1/8"-3/16" aluminum. It definitely seems easier to weld the thicker material. Under 1/8" could be challenging. 100% plug-and-play with the 211i. Plug it in, flip the spool gun switch, and I was away and laughing. I do give the gun a break when welding the thicker stuff. 30% duty cycle @125A, I believe. I'll notice the cord getting warm and let it rest a minute or two. The drive roll is torque limited, I imagine by design. If I burn the wire too close to the tip and it fuses, the drive rolls stop, preventing bird-nesting. I very much appreciate that the gun came with multiple spare contact tips ... show more

  • good for the small job, hobbyist.
Style: 4-Pin Connector
Not overly impressed with the quality, The feed roller spring doesn't always track straight, especially when the roll gets low. Other then that, it does work fair and is not a bad product for the price range.

  • Life Saver
Style: 4-Pin Connector
Works pretty damn good. I was worried how an aluminum spool gun would act but it’s actually pretty easy to use and really affective at speeding up and works that’s aluminum. You’ll need to find this guns sweet spot as it to either burn to hot where the wire will actually melts at the contact tip which causes it to Stick but once you find balance it can roll out dimes. I wouldnt recommend if you’re trying to use this is small areas, small projects anything under 3/32 is probably not going to work as this gun likes to burn a little hotter at around 20-22v and this leaves about a 1/4 in weld in size so not really affective at achieving those precise small Tig welds. ... show more

  • Great Addition to my Lincoln MP welder
Style: 4-Pin Connector
I bought this to do some aluminum welding for a project. It was pretty easy to set up and had me making OK welds on aluminum in no time at all. Glad I bought it. I hope to get some more practice so my welds look more professional. In the meantime, I use a flap disk to make the welds look presentable. My friends that are better than me at welding say TIG is better. I'm sure they're right....but this worked for me. ... show more

  • Cheap plastic gun
Style: 4-Pin Connector
Gun is junk. Major disappointment with a Lincoln product. Wire tensioner control knob is ridiculous, 1/8 turn locks it tight or it free spools. Trigger control for feed quit working completely after less than 1/4 of a spool wire used, so it switched on about a 50 times, then nothing. This is a POS.

  • good gun for the price
Style: 4-Pin Connector
this gun was bought for a Lincoln 180 , this is the only one I could find for this Mech. I use it on some big projects so far, I wish the lead was longer, it comes with 15" lead, It would be better with a 20' or 25' lead. the wire feed is not constant as I would like. but all in all the gun worked well, I have run about 25 rolls through the gun so far. ... show more
