The automatic winding is smooth and makes neat, organized yarn balls that are much easier to work with. I also love that it doesn’t take up much space when storing it. I’m really impressed with this automatic yarn ball winder! It’s compact enough that it doesn’t take up much space, but it feels sturdy and well made. The tension is strong and consistent, and it winds my yarn into neat, usable balls much faster than doing it by hand. It’s been a great little time-saver for my crocheting projects, especially when I have several skeins to wind. Easy to use, convenient, and works exactly as I hoped. Definitely a worthwhile addition to my crafting setup!

Overall the engine is much better, but to manage the tention of the yarn to a ball it's still doesn't work great. It's the same as you have a loose spring to a sewing mashine to control the tread, that comes to a needle to sew it. To control the tention, you need to hold the yarn in your hand not too tight, so the ball would get just right. Of course, to wind a yarn 50 meters in 100 grams, this winder would work just great, but how many of us, knitters are using that kind of "yarn" ? My suggestion would be, keep up working on a better version, so all buyers would buy your winder just from you. I was hoping for a better results this time.

I had no idea a yarn winder could be so well-designed! I previously struggled with various yarn weights — thin yarn would slip, while thick yarn kept getting stuck. Its rollers handle all yarn types flawlessly. My yarn stash is neat now, prep work only takes minutes, and weaving becomes so effortless.

This manual yarn winder performs amazingly! The side crank offers seamless speed control, and it doesn’t jam easily when yarn tangles. I love that I can finally get my yarn stash sorted out

This yarn winder is really handy and makes winding yarn so much easier and faster, and I honestly think it deserves 5 stars! It was very simple to set up on my table, and once I started using it, I was surprised at how smooth it worked without tangling the yarn at all. The construction feels strong and steady, so I don’t worry about it slipping or breaking, which makes it very durable. It quickly turns skeins into neat, compact balls, and I love how much time it saves me compared to winding by hand—it makes my knitting and crocheting so much more fun because my yarn is always organized. For the price, I think this yarn winder is a really good value since it works so well and feels like it will last a long time. It’s also very easy to use, even for beginners, and it handles different yarns without any problem. Overall, it’s a super useful and reliable tool that makes yarn projects easier, faster, and more enjoyable!

As someone who crochets almost daily, this yarn winder has been a big time saver. It’s lightweight, doesn’t take up much space, and was really easy to set up straight out of the box. Within a few minutes, I had my first skein wound into a neat, center pull ball. The motion is smooth and steady，no tangles or sudden snags like I’ve experienced with cheaper winders. One thing I appreciate is how sturdy it feels once clamped to the table. It doesn’t wobble or slide around, even when winding larger skeins. The design is simple but actually kind of stylish, so I don’t mind leaving it on my crafting table. After using it for about two weeks, I can honestly say my projects feel more organized because I’m not constantly fighting with messy yarn piles.
