I love these lights on the deck. We live in the Northeast and use them for the Summer only. I shut them off, pack them up for the winter, and it's hit or miss with them workin when I set them up in the Spring/summer. Frustrating, but I do like the way they look.

Love solar lights. So easy to set-up and use. If you want to go back and forth overhead - you may want to buy a few more strands to get that effect. But even with one you can create ambiance. These will give your outdoor deck or porch some nice mood lighting with the warm white glow. I opened the box and six stars had already fallen off. As I was putting them up another 5 or 6 fell off. So beware you could easily loss them. I had to glue them back on. They tangle easily so that made installation a big difficult, that can't be avoided due to the pointy stars catching on each other. Otherwise they work fine and look nice. The media could not be loaded. I got these lights to hang under a patio roof for mood lighting near the pool. It charged for 24 hours in the Florida sun and was turned on in complete darkness. The led itself may be white, but the plastic stars reflect a yellow-tinted glow. One set outdoors does not throw much light so I would recommend more than one strand if they are to be the only source of illumination. The star shape is fun and the plastic is textured/ bubbly. The claim to last up to 7 hours is accurate as I had it on for 6 hours straight. It's nice not having to run an extension cord. ... show more
