Features

  • How to use it: U.S. shippingTip 1-You must use it in exercises with a certain strength. I tried to use it in a smaller 12v drill bit and it maximized the effect of the drill bit. I have a Kobalt 24v drill bit, but it works fine. Also make sure to use the side handle for your drill bit, otherwise you may twist/break your wrist. In addition, any plug-in drill may work
  • Tip 2-U.S. shippingDon't drill into the center of the log. Drill holes on the edge of the log to make it easier to split and help prevent tools from getting stuck.
  • 3-U.S. shippingAvoid knotting like the plague. If you try to tie a knot, it will get stuck.
  • Tip 4-U.S. shippingIf you drill on the left side of the log/wood, it will use the rotation of the drill bit. If you are drilling on the ground, place your knees or feet on the log to prevent it from rotating, or you can tilt it slightly to make it rotate into the ground. The best case is that you have a table/station that you can use, and maybe even a built-in stop.
  • Tip 5-U.S. shippingIt is best to split the separated logs into smaller fire or smaller logs to load into a small stove. I don't have a heavy hammer drill to test its operation on larger logs. It is very effective for what I need.

  • Ok but…
Color: 32mm
These things really work, the only problem with this particular set is that when your point becomes stuck in a log and you need to reverse, you unscrew the tip off your drill, leaving it stuck in the wood. You need to weld the point on so that it cannot unscrew.

  • Kindling maker
First piece worked really well but the second one aolmost broke my hand. I guess I reached a little too far into the wood and it grabbed the wood and spun it around. I am going to try it a little slower next time.

  • Need a good drill,
Color: 32mm
Tried in Walmart drill doesn't work Tried in my professional cordless ( Ridged ) Worked as expected I can no longer use a hatchet on small kindling wood, this fully replaces hatchet splitting and is safer

  • Do Not Buy This
Color: 32mm
Do not buy this! It does NOT work. I wish I had read the reviews before I bought one. All this bit does is bore into the wood and get stuck. You are very lucky if it doesn't break your wrist in the process. I used a powerful drill and it didn't make any difference. I don't know what trick they used in the videos, but this is a terrible, even dangerous product. Seriously. Do not buy this. ... show more

  • Not for greener logs!
Color: 32mm
Good thing I watched video. No instructions with product. Worked well with dry wood, not so much with greener wood

  • Great concept but falls short
Color: 32mm
The concept is great but you need a BIG drill to use this effectively. I was using a 5 AMP corded drill, and I couldn’t even go through small pieces of pine without the bit getting stuck in the wood. The 2 piece design of the bit is a flaw! When the bit get stuck in the wood, and you go to reverse the bit out, it comes unscrewed and you have to use pliers to get the bit out. ... show more

No need for an expensive log splitter. Just need a drill. Handy tool

  • Absolutely Worthless Piece of Junk!
Color: 32mm
I was unable to split a single piece of wood with this thing. I tried several times and kept thinking I must be doing it wrong or something. I tried smaller and smaller pieces of wood, but it would not split anything, no matter which way I did it. The shaft eventually bent severely. Low quality easily bent metal to to top it all off. Waste of money and time. ... show more
