Video is just okay, sleeps a lot. Sound is absolutely terrible! Sounds like muffled talk and mine is not hidden! Little too big to be hidden!

    • Not ideal as a Nanny Cam
Color: Black
The CEMANTA 4MP Mini Hidden Camera offers good overall picture quality and a simple installation process through the EseeCloud app. Setup was fairly straightforward, making it easy to get the camera up and running without much technical difficulty. The video quality is clear and provides good detail for monitoring purposes. However, the audio quality could use improvement, as the sound frequently cuts in and out, making it difficult to consistently hear conversations or background activity. One feature that proved frustrating was the playback function. While recordings are available, locating specific footage and sharing clips can be challenging and is not as user-friendly as expected. Improved navigation and export options would make reviewing and sharing recordings much easier. Another drawback is compatibility with Amazon Echo. Although the camera advertises smart home integration, connecting it through Alexa Skills was difficult and not as seamless as anticipated. For those considering this camera as a nanny cam, its size may be an issue. The unit is larger than expected, making it harder to conceal discreetly compared to other hidden camera options on the market. What’s Missing / Areas for Improvement: More reliable audio recording quality. Easier playback navigation and video-sharing options. Simpler Alexa/Echo Skills integration. A smaller, more discreet design for hidden or nanny cam use. Better user instructions for smart home setup and footage management. The camera delivers good video quality and simple app-based setup, but audio performance, Alexa integration, playback usability, and the larger-than-expected size prevent it from being an ideal hidden or nanny camera solution. ... show more

    • Reliable So Far
This mini camera is compact, easy to place, and has a clean look that blends into a room without drawing attention. The setup is straightforward, and the app connects quickly. The video quality is sharp for a small indoor camera, and the night vision gives a clear image in dark rooms. Motion detection alerts come through reliably, and the two‑way audio is a helpful feature. I like that it can run on battery power, which makes placement flexible, and it also supports both cloud storage and a microSD card. The dual‑band WiFi (2.4G/5G) is a nice upgrade compared to many small cameras that only support 2.4G. It’s a good option for monitoring a small indoor space, keeping an eye on pets, or checking in on a room while away. Overall, it’s a compact, feature‑rich little camera that performs well for indoor monitoring. ... show more
