The app supports multiple locations, so I can switch between my house and my parents’ without any hassle. That’s been a huge convenience and makes it easy to keep an eye on both places from one app. The video quality is excellent — a clear picture during the day, and the night vision is surprisingly good. The dual-lens setup with pan/tilt gives great coverage, so you’re not missing activity off to the side. One feature that stands out is the person detection — it works really well and cuts down on useless alerts. I’m not constantly getting notifications for every little movement, which is a big improvement over other cameras I’ve used. The setup was straightforward and very easy. All my cameras, including this new one, have been reliable so far with a solid WiFi connection. I was worried about the setup process since I'm not particularly tech-savvy, but these cameras are genuinely plug and play. They come pre-paired with the NVR, so I literally just had to mount them and plug everything in - no complicated pairing process or configuration needed. The auto-tracking feature works surprisingly well and picks up movement smoothly. Picture quality is sharp even at night, and being able to check in from my phone while I'm at work gives me peace of mind. The 360-degree rotation covers way more area than my old fixed cameras did. I appreciate that there's no monthly subscription fee eating into my budget. The two-way audio is clear enough that I can actually have a conversation through it. I have used wired cameras for over 20 years. With my new house we have had many cameras and wires fail lately. A local shop used this setup and showed me how they knew everytime someone showed up in the back lot or the driveway. It took less than 30 minutes to set up 2 cameras and connect to my cell phone. The images are better, but in fairness the cameras are a better quality too. It takes less power and hardware than before with a much smaller footprint on a shelf. The next step is to see how I can increase to more than 6 cameras without technical issues. A 16 camera NVR with the same ease of consumer use would be nice.
