I was looking for a new projector as my old one broke. Only need a projector here and there so I didn't want to spend a lot of money. Saw this one and liked that it came with a tripod stand. Initial set up was more than impressed with the picture quality. Very sharp from the other side of a 12 foot room. I then projected it on my ceiling across the room about 20+ feet and then picture quality held up excellent. Much bigger than my needs, but nice to know it's capable of doing it. Built in sound was really good, but I'll probably use the Bluetooth to connect to my external speakers. Again to nice have, even though not needed. The only potential downside i could see so far is it does run a little hot. Don't know how that will affect the unit over an extended period of time. I always thought you need a bulky projector to show family photos and movies without a screen. This projector is great. It's very compact - has superb image quality, sound is better than my music speaker and pretty loud for home use - no need to connect a speaker. The projector comes with great wires and a tripod that makes it so easy to use. The carrying case is also very protective. I love that I could show my kids movies without having them glued to a screen. I'm looking forward using it when they have playdates with their friends' and their parents' will love it too.
