I needed an MP4 player that would support large hard drives. This one said it supported up to 8TB. In truth, I could not get anything over 1TB to work consistently. I tried multiple drives, both HDD and SSD. Only the smaller drives would work. If you only plan to use smaller drives, it seems to work ok for those purposes. One limitation was that you could not default to turning off subtitles, and you had to press about 10 different buttons to turn it off each time. Other than that, using a small flash drive seemed to work well. I just had to return it because of the inability to handle large drives. One other kind of annoying thing was that it runs on an Android OS hand has a great many settings that are irrelevant to this device (e.g. ringtone settings, WiFI, etc.). ... show more
