Bought May 25th, and here I am buying another machine because this one does not work, and it is August 5th, so 10 weeks later. I was thinking, am I going cheap? The answer is yes, I went cheap, and when I went cheap, I worried I would pay for it later, and I am. Thank you, CCHULUX. The question may be, what went wrong? You put the pod in, and the pressure in the machine either works or doesn't. I have wasted a string of Nespresso pods in the last few weeks. I had to throw them away because of too much pressure. So, it was either too much pressure or not enough. The machine is simple, and I have owned a few over the years, and this one was the biggest piece of **** I have ever bought. I do not write reviews right away; I wait to use the product and see how it performs. When in Greece, we used several different Nespresso clones, and I noticed each was slightly different. One thing I noticed is that some created inconsistent volumes. Sometimes a cup was half the next, and this machine seems to have that problem. Maybe it’s just the nature of the beast, and that's why 4 stars instead of a 5. I come from a moka pot household. Generations of stovetop espresso, the little gurgle, the ritual, the occasional volcanic eruption when you forget it's on the burner. So understand the gravity of what I'm about to say: I threw it away. In the garbage. And I have zero regrets. This machine has turned me into an espresso addict with a one-button habit. Pop in a pod, press, and seconds later there's hot, rich espresso in my cup. No grinding, no tamping, no praying to the coffee gods. It's instant gratification that actually tastes like it took effort. Cleanup? Practically nonexistent. The pods are inexpensive and disposable, so there's no puck of wet grounds to chisel out of anything. Toss the pod, done. My kitchen counter has never been this dignified. It's perfect for my home office, which is to say dangerous, because the distance between my desk and a fresh shot is now approximately eleven steps and I have lost count of my daily total. Easy, fast, hot, cheap to run. My only warning: you will become the person who says "let me make you an espresso" to everyone who enters your home. Guilty. Would buy again. ... show more
