I had wanted to get a dash cam for a long time. Thanks, Amazon, for shipping me this fantastic unit! I spend a good amount of time driving daily, and thus having a recording of what's happening on the road gives me some extra peace of mind. This two-way cam feels solid in hand. Honestly, it was not the easiest experience to install the back camera, but once I understood the connections, everything was then pretty straightforward. I mounted the front camera in a position where it had a clear view through the windshield without interfering with my normal line of sight. I installed the rear camera at the back of the vehicle and routed the cable neatly so it wasn't hanging loose. After connecting everything, I adjusted both camera angles before doing any regular driving. I have to say getting it set up took a little time, but once I understood the connections, it was pretty straightforward. I mounted the front camera in a position where it had a clear view through the windshield without interfering with my normal line of sight. I installed the rear camera at the back of the vehicle and routed the cable neatly so it wasn't hanging loose. After connecting everything, I adjusted both camera angles before doing any regular driving. I have this; this cam is pretty hands-off. It turns on with the car and begins recording automatically. I don’t have to remember to push a record button each time I get in the car. However, I did check the settings from time to time and the memory card and make sure the lenses are clean, with no dirt or fingerprints that may spoil the picture. At the end of the day, I always feel grateful for having it on board. The sense of driving security by a live cam is way more helpful than I thought. ... show more

I just got the dashcam mounted in my sedan for the daily drive across town. Front and rear cameras cover the road while the cabin one watches the interior space at the same time. The screen shows everything clear enough for a quick glance without blocking the view ahead. Night vision keeps the picture usable when the lights outside get low and still picks up car shapes and signs. Collision sensor is set to lock the important clips if something hits hard so they do not get overwritten. WiFi connection lets me pull the files straight to the phone when I stop for a break. GPS puts the location and speed right into the video so the details stay attached. Parking mode sits ready for those times the car is left alone in a lot. The unit stays put once fixed in place and records the whole trip from start to finish without any extra steps. I checked a few clips after a short drive and the details come through fine on the road markings and other vehicles around me. Nothing complicated about using it day to day. The combination of the three lenses gives a fuller picture than a single camera ever could and that is what I needed for regular traffic.     • Parking Mode Records When The Car Sits
This unit has a parking mode that keeps an eye on things after I leave the vehicle. Once the hardwire kit is in place the system can stay active and capture movement around the car while it sits. The three lenses keep their wide coverage so the front path the rear approach and the cabin interior all stay under watch at the same time. The collision sensor still works in this mode and will lock any sudden impact footage so it does not get overwritten. GPS data continues to stamp the location and time into those parked clips. When I come back I can pull the files through the WiFi link and see exactly what took place. The 4K front channel keeps the outside details clear and the cabin feed shows if anything shifted inside. Loop recording manages the space on the card so older quiet periods move out and fresh activity stays saved.
