This camera is a great value for the price. I bought the cellular camera to help an elderly friend keep watch on her apartment while she is out, since she is having problems with unauthorized entry and doesn’t have WiFi. The camera is small and can be placed out of sight and inconspicuous. The battery seems to last a long time. It has been up for about a week and it is still showing a nearly full battery. The camera The SIM card gets good reception and the rates are reasonable, about $15/month or $80 for 6 months for a basic plan that seems to have plenty of data for our needs. The camera app is pretty easy to use and allows you to adjust sensitivity to movement as well as set a schedule for when the camera is active (if you don’t want to be receiving alerts at certain times, for example). My friend is not tech-savvy at all, but I was able to add the app on her phone and teach her how to view videos. There is also the option to purchase a cloud service that stores captured videos online. This isn’t required if you install an SD card, but is helpful since we will still have the videos if the camera gets stolen or vandalized. It is also pretty reasonably priced for one year of cloud service. I would purchase a camera again. The nice thing is that it does not require WiFi, so is good for remote locations, though it must be used indoors or protected from the elements.

So I bought this in a sea of others not knowing anything about it other than it was cellular based NOT wifi (some folks dont read prior to purchase). It does come with a sim card that has 300mb on it I believe. I plugged it in, made a login for the Ubox app which you view the camera remotely and also the EIOTclub app which you can use to purchase more data for the sim card. Surprisingly it fired right up and I had a picture inside the app within a minute or so. Hoping this will work in a fairly remote area I plan to install it but so far I was impressed at how easy it was to setup and the picture seemed decent. Will report back.

This C1 4G security camera is AMAZING! I flip houses for a living. The houses I renovate don’t have internet, and I was looking for a way to monitor them while they were under construction. I am currently working on a house that has terrible cell phone service. (I Frequently have dropped calls to subcontractors). I’m amazed that this camera still works in an area with low cell reception! This camera is a game-changer! This camera will reside in each of my under construction houses, and I will buy more for use in all my flip houses. I highly recommend!

The media could not be loaded. Camera only works with provided Sim. Before purchasing I emailed and ask if it would work in my region. They said it did. After receiving it went back and forth with emails and conclusion: only works with provided Sim, will not refund 3 months of sim purchase and still waiting for refund instructions.

This is a great small indoor camera that doesn’t need wi-fi! You can easily reload the LTE account for however much more data you need. I have flip properties that I need eyes on and this camera has been amazing. Very good quality images, activity sensitivity settings can be adjusted, and a really good value for money! Sound quality is very good too. I highly recommend this camera!

I like that the camera is small enough to hide but big on video quality. I purchased 3 of them and love everything about them. I use them in my cars when parked incase vandals or drivers damage the car. Also being 4G lte you dont need wifi and can view all activity on my cell phone. GREAT
