SOLVED! Update 7.28.23 After being contacted by the seller inquiring if I wanted a refund or exchange I declined and ordered 2 more of these camera's. They're good camera's and do the job I need them to do, albeit I'm using a direct power solution. The solar panel would be great for redundancy, if the camera had two power ports that take a charger and the solar panel, that would be ideal but the charger works fine for my uses of 24/7 surveillance better than the solar panel. The solar panel works great, so long as it contacts direct sunlight, but on cloudy days it will struggle to reach a full recharge. But if you don't have power like on a trail or far off part of your property, its better than nothing at all. I do like the camera's, enough that I ordered a couple more and I'm gonna repeal my original review, and bump it up to five stars now that I got the bugs worked out for my uses. As for the solar panels, so far I'm unable to figure out a way I can use both the panel and the charger to power the camera, so I got another use for them powering a battery bank with LED lighting on my property, and for that they work great. My only other gripe is I wish they would make the app more PC friendly, it would be a nice to have to have all my camera's visible live on one screen.. I have to use Blue Stacks to open the UBOX app on my PC/laptop, and can only view one camera at a time. If there was a way I could view all my camera live on one screen, now that would be awesome! Perhaps in the future they'll update the app or software for these camera's in the future, and figure out a dual port power solution for a charger and solar for redundancy. I would throw my wallet at the screen if they could do that. Update; 8.7.23 I don't know what the deal is? But the cloud service isn't uploading my camera's video to the cloud? It's been like this for a few days now. I checked all the settings. I purchased a one year cloud service package but when I go to check my recordings, it's just blank? If it keeps on doing this I'm gonna reach out to UBOX and find out what the issue is, so stay tuned.

Cameras are okay. They picture and video is great quality. The motion detection never fails to miss a leaf on a windy day but will be completely oblivious to a 6ft tall person walking directly at it. No problem with the 4G service. The cameras go down regularly. There's really no way to fix them. You end up having to replace them or wait it out which can be anywhere from an hour to over a week if they will come back at all. Customer service in the app takes days to respond but if you email them they are very responsive and a pleasure to work with. Their customer service via email and the actual video quality is the only reason I'm giving them a decent review. They do seem like they might be trying to get things together though.

I bought this with high hopes. I will say that the description of 360° is a bit deceiving. Although you can move it 360° it doesn't record in 360°. I was under the impression that when it caught something on record, the camera would follow the subject but it doesn't so whatever position you have the camera in, that's the only place it records. The camera does not follow what's being caught on camera at all. Now if you are looking at live view, you can pan the camera anywhere you want but that's the only time you will get to use the 360° feature which is very disappointing. You have to pay for monthly service if you don't have wifi which the lowest one is all I need and it's only 14.99 a month but you also have to pay for storage which only saves on a option of 7 days or 30 days so if you need to keep a recording for any reason, I just turn on my phones screen recorder and record the recording and save it to my phone for long term keep. Also, here in Georgia, our weather has been crazy with rain along with fog and nothing but clouds for sometimes a week at a time. I have had to manually charge the camera with a charger twice. The charge lasts for over a week but the solar panel can't charge the camera when the sun decides to deprive us of it's presence. I just ran a outside extention cord and plugged the charger in that comes with it and charge it right where it is stabilized. Works great and it's quicker than taking the whole device down. When I first got it, the playback on videos was fast and panning the camera to look around worked well but as time has gone on, panning the camera has been slow and studdaring so bad that it will end up being in a crazy position after it does decide to move. I'm not sure if it is a service issue, camera issue or app issue...either way, it's annoying. Anytime I want updated live view in the app, I have to go into the app, hit on the video then go back out of the app then go back in the app. The camera itself is wonderful hence the 3 stars. The clarity is wonderful in all weather. The only time you will have a issue is when there is dense fog which has only happened twice as we don't get much fog here but when we did, when I went to view the camera, being it's winter, I literally thought it was snowing outside because that's exactly what it looked like on camera. I went running outside thinking there was a blizzard hitting that I was unaware of 😆 🤣 😂 and felt like a jack ass when I seen all the fog. I walked back inside feeling foolishly stupid and went back to viewing the camera and just had to laugh at myself. Needless to say fog will kill the whole operation of your camera but any other type of element, it works absolutely wonderful and the viewing is unaffected. Night vision without the light is awesome but the light option is great quality as well. I was surprised at the distance it picks motion up. It says 18 feet but this one starts recording motion at greater distance and that is a feature that I really like and a huge plus in my book. The actual quality of both the camera and the solar panel are great. It hasn't shown any signs of being weathered the the weather so to speak. The camera and solar panel is made with care and quality. If you have your own wifi, maybe the glitches won't be a issue. Maybe the app just has bugs and glitches. I can't get wifi where I live so I guess I'll never know. If I were to rate the quality of the camera and solar panel by itself, it would be 4 stars and would be 5 stars if the camera panned/ followed the subject it was recording. Otherwise the 360° option is useless unless you just want to play with the panning in live view. In anycase, camera and the solar panel coupled with the slow service and app glitches I gave it 3 stars. If the company coupled with better services and updated the app, all the way around, I would give 4 and again 5 stars if the 360° wasn't misleading. If you have your own fast wifi, it will work great but the app itself will still have issues. I have the newest android made right now which is the Android 21plus through sprint who is now unfortunately T-mobile but still I know it's the app and service and not my phone. Clearing out the apps cache with update still won't fix the slowness of service and glitches in the app.
