This may have been the best value item I've ever purchased. For what this cost, it gave me nearly all the features that I was missing from a newer car, making my 14 year old car feel new again. Having a big screen with Google Maps synced with my phone, higher quality music (no bluetooth-FM adapter needed anymore), a microphone that allows me to make hands-free calls with good sound quality, and a rear view camera are all super valuable to me, and this kit came with all of them. I'm honestly blown away by how different the car feels now. All in all, an easy 5 stars. That being said, there were a few minor pain points - all of which had solutions. Pros: *) Incredible value (includes rear view camera, microphone, GPS, etc.) *) Head unit is easy to install, giving most of the functionality without any special tools needed Mitigated cons: *) The sound is super bass heavy out of the box. This is fixed by updating settings in the equalizer, though it's hard to find how to open the equalizer. I had to map the "mode" button on the steering wheel to the equalizer in order to get it open. *) The backup camera didn't come with long enough power cable to splice into my backup light power - I had to use my own cabling. The instructions also weren't clear enough for me to install the backup camera without looking up additional videos showing the procedure. (The camera also required updating a setting in the menu to NTSC, as shown in a vendor-provided video on this page.) *) It's not reliable to switch from one phone to another when using wireless Android Auto. With one phone it seemed to work reliably. As a result we just use the wired Android Auto, which is faster anyway. Unmitigated cons: *) The passenger airbag light indicator has nowhere to go in the new face plate. If you don't plug its cable in, you get an alert light. If you keep it plugged in, it's hidden behind the screen and you don't know if it is on or off. All in all, an awesome product. If you have any issues with it, chances are good there is a solution to your problem listed somewhere on this page. If not, I found the vendor very responsive when I emailed with a question. My main suggestion for the vendor would be to add one additional instruction sheet with things like how to access the EQ, how to set the action of the music buttons on the steering wheel, how to configure the backup camera, etc. addressing the pain points people mention here often.

best purchase i’ve done in a while, big screen and good graphics, the apps work great but you need to be connected to wifi or hotspot, installing pretty easy and plug and play, only back up camera can take a little bit but everything is good and the steering wheel controls work once you set them up in the SWC app

This is perfect for our sons 2007 Honda Civic. Everything fits exactly as it should and the radio part was super easy to install in the car. The camera was a little more difficult but our son also didn't have a cutout or anywhere to put the camera so we had to make our own. The functions and Bluetooth all work exactly as they should and are easy to connect to and switch around when needed. The sound is great and depending on if you (or you teen in our case) like loud music there are so many ways to listen that it makes it hard to choose sometimes. Probably the best bang for your buck when it comes to a Bluetooth/Touchscreen radio that don't break the bank but also looks as good as it sounds. Definitely recommend!

this is such a waste of money and time pls dont get it, The original head unit only worked for 2 months and after that no audio or nothing, it would boot up and "connect" however there would be no audio or nothing, i reached out and they sent me a replacement after talking for almost a month since they hardly reply but even then it stayed the same the new unit didnt work and honeslty this is such a waste of money just get a better brand like sony or kenwood

I have a 2009 Civic LX that is an extra car for us. I wanted Android Auto, mainly for hands-free calling, but didn't want to spend a fortune. I'd say this is a good option considering the price. Is it perfect? No. Is it a good option for a 15-year-old car? Certainly. The fit and finish are decent on mine. The dash trim color is slightly off, but I'm being picky. As others have said, it's missing a spot for the airbag light. I tucked that into the dash so it doesn't set off a code. Install is pretty easy. The directions are decent, but there are a TON of Youtube videos on how to remove the stock radio. The included wiring harness worked perfect without modification. The included GPS antenna has a very short cord, so I couldn't mount it outside the car. I opted to tuck it in the dash and it seems to work fine. The features are surprisingly responsive. Android Auto connected immediately as soon as I plugged in the USB cord to my phone. Wireless Android Auto also worked for me, but I don't like how it auto-connects so I turned it off. My biggest annoyance on install was the volume level. With the volume set at 1, it sounded like the old radio on 10. If you have this problem, go into Factory Settings, use code 8888, go into USB Settings/Audio, scroll down to Loudness and set that all the way to the right. This gives a lot more resolution in the volume so you're not blasting the music on 1.

Pros - Definitely sounds a whole lot better than stock audio. - Looks cool. that’s about it. Cons - Apple Car play cuts off when playing music. - When it comes to watching videos on your phone, there’s a noticeable delay. It’s really just Android OS with an Apple Car Play Emulator “ZLINK5”. Personally I’d spend a bit more and buy Pioneer’s MVH-S622BS, it might not have a fancy touch screen, but I prefer the simplicity, pressable buttons, and physical knobs much better. You get what you pay for.

This works amazing if you have a 8th gen civic it’s a definitely a must upgrade and for the price you can’t beat it wireless apple play my Sony on my truck doesn’t even work for any kind of apple play and I paid twice as much so definitely recommend this radio and all plug and play which is nice and if you plan on upgrading your speakers don’t buy those adapters for it just use the original speakers and cut off everything and use the housing of the original speakers as the adapter since I upgraded my speakers too
