These are pretty nice mma gloves. I got my son a speed bag punching bag and he needed a pair of decent gloves so he wouldn’t tear up his hands. These are great for that, he has a full size heavy bag that we all use and the gloves work good for it too. I like to use these ones rather than the big bulky boxing gloves. They have just the right amount of material to protect your hands and fit very well. My boyfriend our son who is 10 and myself are able to wear them comfortably since they are adjustable. They are lightweight and the material seems to be pretty breathable and durable. They have just the right amount of padding on the hand and knuckles area for the heavy bag and speed bag, I’m not sure how they would be in the ring and I’m not prepared to find out anytime soon. I had acquired this pair of gloves to work on speed, power and technique with a heavy bag. These offer a good amount of padding and were easy to put on. Palm width is just under 4 inches and these fit fine - it can accommodate both narrower and wider probably within half an inch. Padding is compact. Material and craftsmanship looks to be on par. i really like these, my hands are kinda small and the wrist is capable of being my size (adjustable) and the rest fits my hands as well. the pads are really thick and the gloves seem to be high quality (first pair). they do have a smell not sure how to clean them yet to get the smell out but im sure ill figure it out lol ... show more

The listing size says "large", but I found it a snug fit. And I had some effort to make a fist, but workable. I'd bought an at-home punching bag, and these protect the knuckles. There is a heavier weight version by the same vendor, but these will do for getting started.
