So far I’ve had no issues with this little guy other than rousing my cats’ ire. It comes with three batteries that each last about ten minutes. The controls are easy-to-learn and intuitive, and I’ve even smacked it against furniture a few times already without damaging it (not that I’d recommend doing so, but you don’t have to worry about it breaking if you make a mistake here and there). All of the features seem to work well; the auto-homing, headless, spin, and flip modes all work well and make it a fun little toy to kill some time with. Kids will love it, as will adults who are as weird and juvenile as myself. The ~$30 tiny one (the one that I have) does NOT come with a camera, despite some graphics both on the product page here and its box depicting otherwise; that’s a more expensive model. Just something important to note. If you don’t care about recording video and just wanna have a bit of fun, though, don’t think twice and cop this bad boy. Best impulse purchase I’ve made in awhile. I’ll update this review in the future once I’ve had it and used it for a bit longer. UPDATE - 7/30/22 - My hubris grew today as I was playing with it outside. I decided to see how high she'd soar, and in so doing began to grow discombobulated down on the ground and accidently sent this thing careening into the top of the tree in my front yard. It then proceeded to fall from a height of around thirty feet right onto my front lawn. I thought for sure it'd be broken until I started it back up again and watched it auto take-off like normal with reduction in neither its flight stability nor capability. This little S.O.B can take a lickin' and keep on tickin' like you wouldn't believe. Of course, I don't plan on testing the boundaries therein any time soon, although I do think I'm gonna try to find the service ceiling sometime soon. Hopefully she survives. Wish us luck.

I was looking for a small drone to use when bored. I found this one for a good price and it works really well. The fact that the drone comes with 3 batteries is cool and better flight experience. It can do cool flips and the speed changing settings is what I like a lot. For 30 dollars this drone is worth it and I definitely recommend it.

I've always been intrigued with flying drones but never took the dive - I just didn't want to do the deep-dive into researching them. One day I just punched in the search on Amazon and saw this little drone for around 25 bucks and thought it would be a perfect way to just dive in and get one and check it out. The ratings on it were good, the features were moderate, but the price got me. If the darn thing took a plunge and was destroyed, it wouldn't be the end of the world. I'm glad I did. I even got one for my nephew. This little guy is really fun to fly. I'm not completely used to it yet, but after about a half-hour (I'm probably slower at this than many) I was able to get it to hover and maneuver without hitting anything. Once you get familiar with the controls, and after a few spills, t seems to fly nicely and is quite responsive. The version I have doesn't have a camera, so you have to fly it third-person style but it's great. It seems to be pretty durable, as I've crashed it many times from moderate height and it still flies. I haven't tried it outside yet, but I don't think it's really necessary, as it's just a small one and would likely be affecting by breezes more than larger drones. The battery doesn't last very long - probably about 20-30 minutes, but it's not a big deal. The item came with additional rechargeable batteries. Bottom line - this is a great little intro-drone and now I think I'm hooked. It won't be long before I'll be checking out something larger. I should have gotten the version of this drone with a camera though because I'd like to play with that feature. That's my only regret.

I bought mostly to play with the kids and dogs inside during bad weather. PROS: The prop guards are effective and the storage bin in the controller was a good choice. 3 batteries was definitely a plus. For the size of the batteries, the last longer than I expected. The controls are simple and easy to learn. If something stops/jams one of the rotors, it has a safety that shuts off the drone. CONS: The adjustments work but aren't very effective. If it gets knocked to the ground and lands on its back, it will not shut off without removing the battery. Overall this is the 2nd to best mini drone I've purchased. It's the best below $40. Notes: Read the manual before you play with this. Everything you need to know is in there. This is a low price Mini Drone.... It's not wind resistant. It has has a limited range. If you fly it out of range, you're going to lose it. So Read The Manual so you know what you can and cannot do.

This is one of my favorite inexpensive drones. It flies well and is relatively easy to control compared to larger, similarly priced, budget drones. The controller feels kind of basic but does work quite well. Controller latency is nearly zero. There are 2 versions of this. I had the one with the 720p video and even flew it with the iPhone app. I lost this one flying outside. A gust came along and took it. It’s buried in a huge snow pile in my neihhbora yards now. This one under review is camera-less and has a bright LED in its place. It does not fly with the iPhone app as it isn’t designed as FPV. I think this little drone is something to fly around the house with very little concern for damaging things but now get lost. I fly it with the prop guards which doesn’t affect flight at all. It’s super fun and responds to commands easily. Honestly, getting this little thing for the current price is some of the best, most entertaining money spent.
