FINAL UPDATE: The light strings have worked great since receiving the new parts a few months ago. They look great and provide good lighting. UPDATE: The seller contacted us and replaced the faulty light string switches at no cost. The lights started working again as soon as we connected the new switch. We will update this review at a later date with performance results of the new switches. I ordered 2 sets of lights and strung them together. After less than 2 months both control boxes are bad. The first one stopped working after about a month and the other just stopped. The control box was secured under the patio to protect it from the direct elements. Contacted the seller to see if I could...at a minimum..purchase the bad control box, but have not received any response. I would not suggest this brand. ... show more

I purchased these because they were cheaper than plain white ones and thought they would be kind of fun. A year later over half the bulbs don't work. Some work on white but not colors, some work on colors but not white. I even bought replacement bulbs several months back and had the same issues. And they replacement bulbs are not cheap because they are multi-colored. It may be due to the extreme temperature swings we get in Colorado, but if all you want are plain white bulbs I would shy away from this product. UPDATE: They did make it right by me and provided credit and replacement. I have not had a chance to install the replacement so I cannot comment on their longevity at this time. ... show more

Love these, quality is nice and bulbs are sturdy. The only suggestions would be, It would be nice to buy in 10-15-20-25 or 12-15-18-21. I just wanted 18 bulbs or 20, I'm only 5-7 feet short of wrapping my whole porch and I'm not going to buy another strand for a few bulbs. Otherwise great product and measure how long you need. 'Eyeballing' isn't the best way. ... show more

UPDATE: the seller did reach out to me about these lights and I’m thankful for that. They did offer me a refund to replace the light which I did. It’s not been a few weeks of them being up and these things retain water in the actual bulbs that they flicker. The “new” set came a complete tangled mess. I’m not sure if they were someone’s previous return or what. I want to REALLY try to like this product but I’m having a hard time. I’m not too happy with these lights. I’ve not even had these a year yet and they do not work anymore. I spent a little over $40 with taxes for them to break LESS than a year later. I loved them while they lasted- they lasted through rain last summer and I protected them over the winter and they now do not work. I even have outlet covers (as one should on their home outside). I hope the power supply doesn't fail since that appears to be a weak point on most pendant café/patio light sets. I had to replace a different set because i couldn't get a replacement power supply from that vendor. As opposed to spending good-money-after-bad, I chose to try a different vendor/model. I like the color options on these much better, although i was concerned about brightness since this set only has 15 lights (instead of the 24 on the previous type). The lighter color options are very bright. In fact, they do not dim much at all--I would like better dimming. The remote(s) is small and flimsy to handle but i haven't had any issues with functionality. I personally think the flashing modes are unpleasant and silly and won't be using those. There was no guide included. I would have preferred a color-wheel type of slider control but that may be limited to technology requiring an App, which i wanted to avoid. The loops at the top are on the small side but still fit the hooks I had used previously. The wiring is not quite as heavy duty as my previous set, either. Nonetheless, if they don't fail, I enjoy these lights overall. ... show more
