I used it to plant saplings, and it had no trouble drilling the holes I needed. The motor has plenty of power for typical yard and landscaping projects, and I was pleasantly surprised by the battery life. In fact, I ran out of energy before the auger did! I used it for quite a while on a single charge and never managed to drain the battery during my project. The included auger bits and extension rod make it versatile for different hole sizes, and not having to deal with a gas engine is a huge plus. It’s quieter, starts instantly, and requires far less maintenance. Since then, it’s done nothing but rain, so the auger has been patiently waiting for the next round of yard work—and honestly, I’m hoping that’s much later. 😄 Overall, this turned out to be a very capable tool that proved my skepticism wrong. Box was damaged and taped up. Sadly, one of the batteries was broken so who knows how hard the hit to the box was. Interestingly enough, the batteries come in some white protective foam but it was still broken. Besides that, auger looks pretty decent for a plastic battery ran tool. First of all, I used this hole digger to put some large size trees in my backyard which saved me so much time because the motor is amazingly powerful, fast, and quiet. Second, it comes with 2 batteries which tales forever to drain and they have decent lifetime.
