My gas powered mower died. I thought, "this is it... I'll go electric and never again feel the joy of waking my neighbors or filling the yard with a smokescreen every spring." Well, I went looking for a particular black and yellow brand which would be compatible with the array of batteries I already have for all my black and yellow power tools. After perusing what was available, I realized it was going to take a lot longer for me to purchase that zoom lens for my camera. Then this little beauty popped up in my search, and I thought, "nah, this thing is probably going to catch fire the third time out cutting my 2,400 foot lawn!" Then I thought, "If I buy this I'll have plenty left over to put in the lens fund." So, I bought it. Easy to assemble. Some cheap plastic here and there, but overall solid. Took two 4 amp DW batteries and went to town. 14 inches means a few more passes than usual, but it's light, and can get into nice tight spaces between some rose bushes and such. You can mow with or without the bag, which I like. Nice cut height adjustment. Five times out mowing with it now, and no problems. Has sufficient power to do the job and chop up the occasional small branch. Third time out one battery had one bar and the other was full. After the fifth mow both batteries were down to one bar, but it was still working. If you have a small lawn, are short on storage space, don't want to wrestle big and bulky machines, and want to save a bunch of bucks, this is the machine for you. There are affordable options in terms of batteries, and a pair of new 4 amp batteries will add about $100-something bucks to the overall cost, but still far more affordable than other options out there. ... show more

Surprisingly great experience so far

I found this while looking for a replacement for my tired gas mower. Wanted to try out the electric aspect and something I already had batteries for. So far I have been impressed with this item. Assembly was simple. Size is smaller than I’m use to but this is helpful with storage. Weight is around 30 pounds or so but makes it easy to maneuver. Battery life is based off two 5 amp batteries and almost lasts me for the front and back yard. Noise level is much quieter than a gas motor. Overall it’s been impressive for the price. The only question I have is about longevity and durability but time will tell. ... show more

Small compact battery operated Mower that is fully compatible with DeWalt 20 Volt batteries.

I use a 61 inch Ferris for large lawn. This unit is small size to get into small areas and a small courtyard. I probably have 4 total hours on it so far. Longest stretch was 45 min and both DeWalt Batteries did not go dead and still had 1 bar on both. There are some thin and "flimsy" plastic parts but nothing has failed so far. Mower is very light and maneuvers very. Smart move making this to fit with DeWalt Batteries which is the reason why I bought this particular unit I use one 6 amp and one 4 amp. The Clippings basket is sturdy and does a nice job filling. Reason for 4 stars is motor is a Brush Motor vs Digital. ... show more

Questionable product

The plastic on this product is of such low quality whereby you will almost break it several times just going through the limited assembly. I cut my lawn with it and it worked well. However, I'm very unconfident and skeptical that I'll be able to get a full year's use out of this product.

Great mower

This cordless mower is great. I have a riding mower for the large part of my yard, but I have a few areas that I can't use the rider and I've been using a weed eater which is very exhausting and in this heat it wears this 66 year old lady out. I never thought I would like a cordless mower, but this little gem is great. It is very light weight, but cuts great. The bagger does fill up pretty quickly, but that's not a problem for me. I don't have a perfect lawn. It is a dog yard with tough, drought tolerant grasses, and lumpy from gophers. Even with the lumps and bumps, this mower is easy to use, especially at setting 3 or higher. Going down to setting 2 is a little short for my lawn, but would work well if you have a flat, perfectly manicured lawn. Easy to push. Quieter than a gas mower. Battery life lasts for the whole yard. Super lightweight, even with batteries installed, I can carry it where I need it. I already owned the batteries, so it was a no brainer. Happy to reduce the pollution of a gas mower. ... show more

The blower was great I purchased both in April and I am just now using them today jul 26 the blower is great the hedge cutter dsnt turn on at all no power battery fully charged smh and I can’t even return it

It is actually a great deal. My lawn is pretty good size, and I have yes to run out a battery. Mower is easy to assemble and easy to use. I was quite impressed with it. 14" isn't a lot of cutting ground but it does the job.
