  • Not quite a 16Ahr Battery
UPDATE Dec 2022: I put two batteries in my mother's mobility scooter and discovered today that the battery box is damaged. I tried it to another battery box and the batteries performed very well. They went up an incline with no problem faster than the AGM batteries. The inrush current was below the BMS tolerance and functioned very well in the mobility scooter. Updated to 5 stars. These are a budget product so don't expect too much. UPDATE 17 Aug 2022: I put two batteries in my mother's mobility scooter. They are taller than the AGM batteries they replaced. I removed the rubber caps on the battery box top and they fit fine. Unfortunately my gamble did not pay off. The inrush current for the scooter exceeds the max output of the BMS. I was not able to test the scooter power draw properly to get this critical information. That is my fault and I now get to sell the battery at a loss or find another purpose for it. To summarize: the capacity is lower than claimed and the inrush for a scooter is higher than the BMS can handle. May work great for amateur radio or GMRS or gate closer, etc. UPDATE 9 Jul 2022: I received the second battery via Amazon fulfillment 2.5+ weeks after ordering it. The box was crushed and showed water damage. The inner boxes and items were not damaged. I tested the second battery at Sokerdy recommended 5A to 10V. It tested to 14.1Ahr and ran for over 15 minutes at 20A rated discharge as well. Multiple tests at various loads 3A,4A,5A clearly indicate the capacity is below rated. The best test shows 14.8Ahrs of 16Ahrs rated. Disappointing, but not too surprising. Original Review 30Jun2022: I ordered two batteries to replace my mother's mobility scooter AGM batteries. The first one arrived slow; the second is yet to arrive with more than a week still in transit. These must be used in pairs (new same manufacturer, same size, same charge) to be used in series. I tested the battery both for capacity and rated output. It tested at 14.58 of 16 claimed AmpHours at 4A load. This is usable, but very disappointing. I ran the battery at 20A for 15 minutes to make sure the BMS and busses were as rated. There was significant voltage drop from small busses, but it held acceptable voltage at 20A for 15 minutes. These are 97mm vs the 12-14Ahr AGM batteries at 93mm height. I can trim the top holders to fit the batteries. I am not satisfied with Amazon's piss poor delivery. It took two weeks for the tracking number to show up in UPS Tracking. Then they changed the refund date by adding another week once they "found" the package. I ordered two more with the exact same casing and received them in 3 days. When the other battery arrives I will test it and decide to keep or return both. Overall, I'm more disappointed with Amazon's poor service than the manufacturer's lie about capacity. If they fail quickly I will update the review. ... show more

  • Works great in a large UPS, just make sure the battery chamber is big enough
I’ve been very happy with the smaller (9-10 Ah) LiFePO4 batteries I’ve swapped into multiple small (350VA - 500VA) UPSes in the last year. Their charge and drain characteristics are close enough to SLA that the UPSes don’t know the difference. So when it was time to replace the lead acids in my 1000VA Smart UPS I figured I’d try these. In the interest of longer run-time I got a pair of 16Ah LiFePO4s, knowing they may be a bit too big for the battery chamber. Length and width are identical to the old ones, but they’re about 3mm taller. Fortunately, the mounting brackets are adjustable, so it only took a few minutes to fit these into the case. Before installation, I charged them to 100% on a proper charger and the UPS recognized them immediately. I ran a few load tests to run them down to about 50% and the UPS didn’t miss a beat (miss a volt? Miss a cycle?). Because I have important machines plugged into the UPS, I didn’t want to run it down all the way so I’m not sure how accurate the charge meter on the UPS is but based on power draw and time on battery, it seems like the UPS can’t tell these aren’t lead-acid. It read 50% right when I expected it to. One important point: these can’t put out as much current as a comparable SLA battery, so be careful about how much plug into the UPS. It may run fine on wall power but when the utility goes out and you try to pull too much from the LiFePO4’s, they’ll turn themselves off - if you’re lucky. Worst case you could damage the batteries and the UPS. I’m limiting mine to 300W which keeps the batteries happy and should give me a solid hour of runtime. All told, I couldn’t be happier with these. ... show more

  • The 3c discharge rate had me sold
Style: Automotive Replacement Batteries
It's always tough to review these batteries because they last SO LONG. I mean, the real truth of it's quality won't show for 5-10 more years! However, I don't know if it's marketing hype, but it SEEMS to deliver on the claim of 3C discharge rate. Mind you, I'm not going to do that on a regular basis. That was a crucial selling point for me. My inverter often pulls 100-120 amps for a short period of time, so I didn't want a BMS kicking the battery out when I'm using it most. As for capacity, I chickened out at 1kw, so I didn't see if it would actually go the full 1250 watts. However, it didn't even break a sweat going that far, so I'm assuming it'll do the job. ... show more

  • good value
Style: 12.8V-400Ah
Have now had this battery installed and in use for 3 months. Great upgrade from the two 80 ah flooded batteries that came with my 5th wheel. I would like to have a better connection with the manufacturer to get specs and set up info. I've revamped our system and am guessing as to setting for our inverter charger in relation to this battery. That aside this battery will easily get us through a day with all systems running and greatly enhances our boondocking experience. ... show more

  • Way better
I recently upgraded to the 12V Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery to replace the power wheels battery, and I'm absolutely thrilled with the results. This battery is a game-changer! It outperforms the old power wheels battery by a mile. Not only does it seem to last forever on a single charge, but it also charges up quickly. I especially appreciate that it requires a smart battery charger, which helps me keep track of when it's fully charged, ensuring its longevity. If you're looking for a reliable and long-lasting power source for your devices, this LiFePO4 Deep Cycle Battery is an excellent choice. It's made a significant difference in the performance of my power wheels, and I couldn't be happier with it. ... show more
