This LEESKY 2000 Watt Pure Sine Inverter is a very serious and sophisticated device. Though I have to admit that I had no idea how best to use it at first, I’ve done a ton of research and learned a diploma’s-worth of knowledge about pure sine inverters. The Leesky 2000W Pure Sine Wave Inverter is an excellent, well-built power inverter designed for off-grid, emergency, and mobile power solutions. It efficiently converts 12V DC (battery power) into 110V–120V AC (household power) so you can run standard appliances, tools, and electronics in your car, RV, or home during power outages. As home backup power, the Leesky runs essential devices during blackouts. For off-grid living & RVs, the Leeksy converts battery power for appliances when living off the grid. If you’re camping or traveling, the Leesky provides AC power for electronics and small appliances. For Starlink and sensitive electronics, the pure sine wave output ensures stable power for satellite internet, laptops, CPAP machines, and more. Think of this inverter as a bridge between a 12V battery and your household devices. Connect the Leesky to a 12V battery (car, deep-cycle, or lithium), and it will converts the 12V battery power into standard household power (110V–120V AC). Then you plug in appliances, tools, or electronics, just like you would at home. FOR THIS PROCESS TO WORK, YOU’LL NEED: A 12V BATTERY. I have the 2kW version of this same brand that I’ve been using in my power battery bank project, and it working fine, so I ordered this 1.5kW inverter to extend the current capabilities even further by adding -in the near future- extra batteries and more solar panels. So far, this 1.5kW unit is very similar as its big brother and comes with same options and capabilities: real pure sine wave inverter, digital screen, wired remote control, similar size, equal protection modes, and same quantity of power outlet and port connections. For purposes of this review, I just connected to AGM battery and proceed to test it with some of my power tools which not issues at all. As I said in my previous review, what I like of theses pure sine inverters is their capability to manage instant peak power demand as well as handle inrush current from inductive loads (it comes with a built in ‘soft start’); stable output and can also be configured to work with wide range of batteries types: either the common Lead Acid, AGM, Gel, SLA, LifePo4, among others; has fuse protection and includes several built-in safety features, as Reverse polarity protection, Input over-voltage/under-voltage protection, Output short-circuit protection, Over-load protection, Over-temperature protection, Low-input alarm, to name a few. Additionally, the inverter comes with convenient charging ports (conventional USB and USB 3 ports) to charge electronic devices, a remote control (for on-off) and a power indicator that can be conveniently installed remotely and plugged to the inverter for battery status and alarm. The digital display indicates battery charge (input), sine-wave AC output status (60Hz-120VAC) and actual power load connected, which is useful to monitor main parameters. Overall, this inverter seems quality-made, sturdy with fully aluminum enclosure and brackets at the base for convenient installation. So far, a good product at an affordable price. Recommended. I haven't done a lot of testing with this, but in the testing I've done this inverter works well and seems to deliver nice, clean power. I tested it with a 1900 watt space heater and it didn't even blink and powered with with no problem. I haven't tried to see if it can handle the stated surge voltage, but based on the overall fit, finish, and testing I've done, I'd guess it will work as described. I'm pretty impressed overall with this inverter as it packs a lot of punch and features for the price.

It seems this is making a nice enough sine wave to run a small freezer without any problems. It doesn't get too hot. I like that it shows the voltages and battery status on the LCD. It has great protections and should shut itself off if it detects a problem.
