Purchased this unit to replace a fairly old (and loud!) basement unit that has been reliable to us. The quiet nature is great, and isn’t at the behest of functionality. It’s efficient and even has other modes (eg fan vs dehumidifier) which my prior unit didn’t have. Only downside is the tank capacity. Living near a lake means we have a lot of water in the air, so this has required daily drains in a somewhat small chamber. I liked that there are a lot of options about how to set the colors, or intensity of the dehumidifier. It does the job of dehumidifying the room, but of almost equal value is how the sound is very nice white noise. It makes it so that I can fall asleep easier without even worrying about a fan. I have a walled off patio in my back yard and this does a great job at keeping the room cooled for the summer. My parents love sitting out there to get sunlight during the day and when we have parties everyone goes out for more space. Before no one wanted to sit outside cause it was so hot but now everyone wants to be outside. I bought it for some condensation build up on the bathroom which leads to mold. Left it overnight and grabbed a fair amount of water which is great. Also is really quiet and lights helps as a night light for when you need to go in the middle of the night and don't want to turn on the lights.
